NAG-EXPLAIN ang Kapuso actress-beauty Queen na si Michelle Dee kung bakit nagpaputol uli siya ng hair ilang araw bago ang grand coronation night ng Miss Universe 2023 pageant.
May gusto raw kasing iparating na “strong message” ang bet ng Pilipinas sa naturang international beauty contest para sa buong universe na may kaugnayan sa kanyang mga ipinaglalaban.
Sa isang video, sinabi ni Michelle na ang pagpapaikli niya ng buhok bago lumipad patungong Amerika para sa pagpapatuloy ng kanyang training ay upang ibandera ang kanyang paniniwala na “everyone can shine in their own individuality.”
“I really believe it highlights my personality. You know being in the pageant stage with short hair symbolizes breaking the barrier.
“And it symbolizes what I truly stand for also which is to empower everyone that you don’t have to fit in just to become Miss Universe,” ang pahayag ni Michelle sa nasabing video interview.

Mariin pa niyang sabi, “You can shine with your own uniqueness and individuality.”
Nabanggit din ng Kapuso actress ang tungkol sa ginawa niyang video para sa Miss Universe pageant na kinunan sa Mall of Asia Arena (globe area) na gumawa rin ng ingay sa social media.

“It is a ‘Hello Universe Challenge’ and we were tasked to highlight a popular venue in the Philippines and what better way to do it than at the globe,” sey ng dalaga.

Chika pa ng anak ng actress-beauty queen din na si Melanie Marquez, “I helped conceptualize it with the help of the Miss Universe Philippines team and with my personal creative team as well. I just had a vision that I wanted to execute it and we made it happen.
“Nakakataba ng puso that so many people, so many companies were ready to support the whole Philippines. Again this is not my journey alone but the journey of the whole nation,” pahayag pa ni Michelle.
Last October 31 ay ginanap ang send-off ceremony para sa pagsabak ni Michelle sa Miss Universe pageant sa NAIA Terminal 1 kung saan talagang sumugod pa ang kanyang fans sa airport.
“Sobrang nakakataba ng puso. Kung hindi lang ako naka makeup umiiyak na ako right now, so overwhelming talaga. I can’t believe that I am about to fly.
“Konting araw sa LA pero malapit na po. Malapit na ‘yung laban [sa El Salvador]. Hindi pa tapos but I will give everything that I have just for all of you,” mensahe pa ni Michelle.
Magaganap ang grand coronation ng Miss Universe 2023 sa El Salvador sa November 18 (November 19 sa Pilipinas).
