PBBM, Michael V, Gary V, ilan pang personalidad ‘nagdiwang’ sa pagkapanalo ng Gilas Pilipinas sa 19th Asian Games
PROUD na proud ang sambayanang Pilipino matapos makagawa ng kasaysayan ang Gilas Pilipinas.
Magugunita na ang ating bansa ang naghari sa larangan ng men’s basketball sa naganap na 19th Asian Games noong October 6 sa Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium sa China.
Nakuha ng tropang Gilas ang gintong medalya matapos talunin ang Jordan sa score na 70-60.
Kung maaalala, noong 1962 pa nang huling mag-uwi ng gold medal ang Philippine team sa men’s basketball sa Asian Games kung saan ang tinalo nila ay ang team China.
Ilan lamang sa bigating personalidad na nagpaabot ng “congratulatory” message at proud na proud sa national team ay si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, ang batikang singer na si Gary Valenciano, ang komedyante at veteran actor na si Michael V., at marami pang iba.

Mensahe pa niya, “Your hard work continues to elevate Filipino athleticism and sportsmanship to the global arena.”

Sa isang Instagram post naman, ibinandera ni Michael V ang throwback picture kasama ang basketball player na si Ange Kouame.
Ayon sa mga balita, nag-ambag ng 14 points si Ange upang manalo ang Gilas laban sa Jordan.
“Congrats sa G[yellow heart emoji]LD #GilasPilipinas [Philippine flag emoji],” saad ng komedyante sa IG.
Kwento pa niya, “Once upon a time, nakilaro din sa Basketboys si @angelokouame34 back in 2018 [basketball emoji].”

Todo puri naman ang inihayag ng dating basketball player na si Chris Tiu.

Para sa mga hindi pa masyadong aware, si Chris ay naging parte ng national team na nagwagi ng gold medal sa Southeast Asian Games noong 2011.
