‘The Exorcist: Believer’ matinding katatakutan ang handog sa mga sinehan
SAKSIHAN ang pinakabagong chapter ng iconic horror film na “The Exorcist.”
Ito ay may titulong “The Exorcist: Believer” na kasalukuyan nang ipinapalabas sa mga lokal na sinehan.
Muling bibida riyan ang American actress na si Ellen Burstyn at Swedish-French actor na si Max von Sydow, tampok din ang newcomer na American actress na si Linda Blair.
Sa pamamagitan ng inilabas na pahayag, ikinuwento ng Universal Pictures ang magiging istorya ng bagong pelikula:
“Since the death of his pregnant wife in a Haitian earthquake 13 years ago, Victor Fielding has raised their daughter, Angela on his own.
“But when Angela and her friend Katherine disappear in the woods, only to return three days later with no memory of what happened to them, it unleashes a chain of events that will force Victor to confront the nadir of evil and, in his terror and desperation, seek out the only person alive who has witnessed anything like it before: Chris MacNeil.”

Para sa kaalaman ng marami, ang release ng nasabing American supernatural film ay kasabay ng ika-50th anniversary mula nang inilabas ang original movie nito.
Kung maaalala, ang classic horror movie ay gumawa ng kasaysayan bilang kauna-unahang horror film na nominado para sa “Best Picture” sa Oscars, at nagwagi ng “Best Adapted Screenplay” at “Best Sound.”
Ayon sa producer ng supernatural horror film na si Jason Blum, ang “The Exorcist: Believer” ay isang pagpupugay sa orihinal na “The Exorcist.”
“The original Exorcist film was groundbreaking for its time, and we wanted to honor the film with this continuation,” sey ni Jason.
Paliwanag pa niya, “It’s been 50 years, and thousands of horror films have been released since The Exorcist, so, for us, it was about trying to go back to an unsettling and original story.”
Kung matatandaan, taong 2005 pa nang huling masilayan ang film series nito na may titulong “Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist,” habang ang kauna-unahang franchise nito ay inilabas noong 1973 na pinamagatang “The Exorcist.”
