‘The Exorcist: Believer,’ ‘Lost in the Stars’ mga pelikulang magbibigay kilabot bago ang Halloween season

UMPISA na ng mga katatakutan ngayong papalapit na ang Halloween season!
Kung ang hilig niyo ay manood ng horror movies, dalawang pelikula ang kaabang-abang sa mga sinehan.
Ito ang American supernatural film na “The Exorcist: Believer,” at ang Chinese thriller film na “Lost in the Stars.”
Unahin na muna natin ang bagong “The Exorcist” movie na nakatakdang ipalabas sa October 4.
Kung matatandaan, taong 2005 pa nang huling masilayan ang film series nito na may titulong “Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist,” habang ang kauna-unahang franchise nito ay inilabas noong 1973 na pinamagatang “The Exorcist.”
Ayon sa pahayag na inilabas ng Universal Pictures International, aasahan ang isang panibagong chapter sa pelikula.
“The new movie marks a new beginning that takes audiences into the darkest heart of inexplicable evil,” saad ng film production.

Kwento pa sa magiging istorya ng pelikula, “Since the death of his pregnant wife in a Haitian earthquake 13 years ago, Victor Fielding has raised their daughter, Angela on his own.
“But when Angela and her friend Katherine disappear in the woods, only to return three days later with no memory of what happened to them, it unleashes a chain of events that will force Victor to confront the nadir of evil and, in his terror and desperation, seek out the only person alive who has witnessed anything like it before: Chris MacNeil.”
Muling bibida rito ang American actress na si Ellen Burstyn at Swedish-French actor na si Max von Sydow, tampok din ang newcomer na American actress na si Linda Blair.
Ayon sa producer ng supernatural horror film na si Jason Blum, isa itong pagpupugay sa orihinal na “The Exorcist.”
“The original Exorcist film was groundbreaking for its time, and we wanted to honor the film with this continuation,” sey ni Jason.
Paliwanag pa niya, “It’s been 50 years, and thousands of horror films have been released since The Exorcist, so, for us, it was about trying to go back to an unsettling and original story.”
Samantala, sa darating na September 17 naman mapapanood ang “Lost in the Stars.”
Ang thriller film ay isang adaptation movie mula sa ‘90s Russian film na pinamagatang “A Trap for the Lonely Man.”
Tungkol ito sa isang couple na nagdiriwang ng wedding anniversary, ngunit imbes na maging masaya ay tila nauwi ito na parang bangungot.
Mapapanood sa trailer na nawala ang misis ng mister sa isla na pinuntahan nila upang mag-celebrate.
Ni-report ito ng mister sa mga pulis ngunit ito ay na-dismiss agad dahil sa kakulangan ng ebidensya.
At habang patuloy niyang hinahanap ang asawa ay may isang babae na hindi niya kakilala ang nagpakilala na misis niya.
Ang bida sa pelikula ay ang Chinese actors na sina Zhu Yilong as He Fei, Ni Ni bilang Shen Man, Janice Man gaganap bilang Li Muzi at Du Jiang as Zheng Cheng.
Para sa kaalaman ng marami, ang “Lost in the Stars” ang isa sa biggest hit sa China na nakakalikom na ng US$485 million o mahigit P27 billion sa box-office worldwide.
