True story ng paring exorcist sa Vatican magpapakilabot sa pelikulang ‘The Pope’s Exorcist’

MAKATINDIG balahibo ang bagong pelikula na pagbibidahan ng award-winning Hollywood actor na si Russell Crowe.
Ito ang horror movie na “The Pope’s Exorcist” na hango sa mga tunay na karanasan ni Father Gabriele Amorth, ang paring exorcist sa Vatican City.
Sa inilabas na press release ng Columbia Pictures, naikwento ni Russell na ang pelikula ay iikot sa imbestigasyon ni Father Gabriele sa isang batang lalaki na sinaniban ng isang demonyo.
Bukod diyan ay ipapakita rin daw sa pelikula ang mga natuklasan ng pari sa Vatican na itinago nang isang siglo na ang nakalipas.
“In the movie, the abbey has a long history with the Catholic Church, and there are some things that happened there which get uncovered,” sey ng aktor.
Dagdag pa niya, “These events took place during some of the darkest days of the Catholic Church, as punishment was meted out to people who didn’t measure up to the depth of their belief.”

Ang pinagbasehan ng pelikula ay ang mga libro na may titulong “An Exorcist Tells His Story” at “An Exorcist: More Stories” na isinulat mismo ni Father Gabriele.
Makakasama ni Russell sa pelikula sina Daniel Zovatto, Alex Essoe at Franco Nero.
Ang “The Pope’s Exorcist” ay mapapanood sa mga lokal na sinehan simula sa April 19.
Ayon pa sa mga producer ng pelikula, isa ito sa mga “must-watch” horror film ngayong taon.
