Resbak ni Kaladkaren sa tumawag sa kanya ng ‘he’: ‘You think you can put me down? Gurl, I have fought and won battles worse than this…mahiya ka!’

INALMAHAN ng TV host-actress na si Kaladkaren ang isang netizen na nang-okray sa kanyang hugot tungkol sa mga AI o Artificial Intelligence at tumawag pa sa kanya ng “he.”
Maraming kumampi kay Kaladkaren nang tila magpatutsada ito about AI-generated sportscasters ng GMA Network na sina Maia at Marco.
Pero meron din namang bumatikos at nangnega sa award-winning transformation actress dahil sa pagpaparinig niya sa GMA 7.
Naganap ito sa closing spiels ni Kaladkaren sa primetime newscast ng TV5 na “Frontline Pilipinas” noong September 25. Humirit muna siya na totoong tao siya at hindi AI bago banggitin ang kanyang name.
“Abangan po bukas ang mas maiinit na K-alaman at showbiz balita. Hindi po ito AI. Ako po si Kaladkaren,” sey ng TV host.
Mabilis namang nag-trending sa X (dating Twitter) ang nasabing video clip matapos itong i-post ng isang netizen na may caption na, “Louder Ghurl, Ms. @jervijrvi!”
Ni-repost agad ito ni Kaladkaren sa kanyang social media account at nilagyan ng caption na, “OMGGG.”
Bukod dito, isa pang X user ang nag-post ng video ni Kaladkaren na may mensaheng, “Ms. Kaladkaren @jervijervi shading the AI while reporting at Frontline (crying emoji).”

Sa naturang video, makikita si Kaladkaren na nagpasampol ng robot moves nang tuksuhin siya ng TV5 sportscaster na si Mikee Reyes. Aniya, “Kurutin niyo nga si ano (Kaladkaren) Baka AI ka.”
Hirit ni Kaladkaren, “Huy, totoong tao po ako ha, mga kapatid.”
Sa comments section ng post, may mga natuwa sa ginawa ni Kaladkaren pero may ilan ding naloka sa kanya at tinawag pa siyang “unprofessional.”

Ayon fan account ng GMA 7 na @KapusoThingsPH, “He thought he did something (face vomiting and clown emoji).”
Hindi nga ito pinalampas ng TV host at binasag ang netizen, “You think you can put me down by misgendering me? Gurl, I have fought and won battles worse than this. Mahiya ka @KapusoThingsPH.”
Matatandaang noong September 23, ibinandera ng GMA ang kauna-unahang AI presenters ng bansa na sina Maia at Marco na ginawa para tumulong sa courtside reporters ng NCAA Seasons 99 sa pagbibigay ng mga live updates.
Ngunit marami ang nabahala na bukod sa pagkuwestiyon sa kakayahan ng AI na makipag-ugnayan sa mga manonood, baka raw mawalan na ng trabaho ang mga totoong tao sa larangan ng pamamahayag.
Ayon kay GMA Network Senior Vice President at head ng Integrated News, Regional TV, at Synergy na si Oliver Victor Amoroso, “Maia and Marco are AI presenters, they are not journalists, they can never replace our seasoned broadcasters and colleagues who are the lifeblood of our organization.
