“I think my number one insecurity would be my weight,” sagot niya kay Dra. Vicki.

Sey pa niya, “I think that’s no secret all throughout my showbiz career. I would always get criticized for my weight fluctuating back and forth, and you know, like rumors about me being pregnant just because I gained a little bit of weight. It would really affect my mental health.”

“I always get compared to girls that are smaller than me, and because I’m a halfie (half Filipino, half American), I also am a little bit on the bigger side,” paliwanag niya.

“Not my face but on my body ‘cause I really had bad skin growing up ‘cause I have allergic reactions to the air, change in environment because I grew up in America and I came here and all of a sudden I had all these rashes coming up my legs and stuff,” sambit ng aktres.

Patuloy niya, “And I kind of got bullied in school for that. People would call me ‘hayop,’ instead of saying ‘Hi Hope’ it would be like hayop… ‘Cause people would say that I have galis like a dog because my skin was really bad.”

“Then coming into showbiz, I remember people would always point out my knees and how they were all scarred up and also very dark compared to everyone else who had flawless skin, so that also triggered insecurity in myself,” dagdag niya.

“And then more recently, my hair…As I got older, my hair started thinning a bit due to – I got alopecia actually around 2020 due to stress,” pagbubunyag niya.
