INAMIN ng actress-dancer at TV host na si Yassi Pressman na nasasaktan din siya kapag nakakarinig at nakakabasa ng masasakit na comments about her body.

Isa si Yassi sa mga local celebrities na talagang nabibiktima ng mga body shamers at laiterang netizens sa social media hanggang ngayon.

Ayon sa dalaga, sa kabila ng pagkakaroon ng active and healthy lifestyle, may masasabi at masasabi pa rin ang mga bashers at haters sa kanyang itsura at katawan.

May mga pagkakataon daw talaga na naaapektuhan din siya sa mga natatanggap na body-shaming comments pero aniya, ang the best daw na pangontra at panlaban sa mga ito ay “self-love”.

“Honestly, masakit din naman ang sasabihin ng mga tao. But, at the end of the day, kailangan mong isipin na it’s your body, and hindi naman sila ang nakatira sa temple mo.

“It’s your home, and you have to be kind to yourself because unang-unang magmamahal sa sarili mo is ikaw din,” paliwanag ng aktres sa panayam sa kanya ng “Magandang Buhay” last May 17.

Nagkuwento pa si Yassi tungkol sa kanyang fitness and weight loss goals na sinimulan niya matapos ang kasagsagan ng pandemya.

“Nu’ng pandemic po kasi, nag-stop din ang lahat ng work. Kaya naman parang feeling ko, i-relax na lang din muna natin yung sarili natin.

“And before, I was training so hard, working so hard, parang sometimes nga rin po, my eating habits weren’t the best.

“Kaya po nagkaroon po ako ng health coach. Si Coach Darren Liu, Coach Carlos Hellstern. More than anything, ang pinaka-importante is also what you eat. So, with your diet, your nutrition,” paliwanag niya.

Samantala, nagpakitang-gilas din sa “Magandang Buhay” si Yassi pagdating sa pagluluto ng pesto pasta with grilled chicken.

“Honestly, I love pasta so much. Sobra. Kaya minsan sinusubukan namin na hindi siya gawing sobrang creamy para makabawas ng calories.

“And then yung ginagamit namin minsan is, parang quinoa pasta, sometimes mga healthier options ng pasta. Gluten-free pasta. Tapos yun, kinakain lang namin,” pagbabahagi pa ng dalaga.

Pag-amin pa niya, “Hindi po kasi ako pinapayagan dati sa kusina. Makalat daw po akong bata, sabi nila. Sabi ko, ‘Ano ba iyan, paano po ako matututo kung hindi ko susubukan? So ito ngayon, nagkaroon na ng time.’”

Hindi rin daw siya nag-aral ng culinary, “Natuto lang po ako sa kapa-kapa academy. Tantsa-tantsa academy, ganern.”

Bukod sa tamang pagda-diet, nagbigay pa ng ibang kaalaman si Yassi about her healthy daily routines, “Tulad ng paggising nang maaga, and then paglakad po muna in the morning.

“Tapos after mo maglakad-lakad, you drink water before you drink any coffee. Mga ganun po na mga maliliit na bagay.

“Water is the most important thing that you can have. And kung kaya n’yo mag-thirty minutes walking, better.

“Kung kaya niyo mag-five minutes lang, okay lang. No judgment. Basta you can try. And it’s better than any type of coffee,” aniya pa.
