Boobay pinayuhan ng ex-BF na magpatingin na sa neurosurgeon: ‘Yes, we broke up but I still care for him…he is precious to me’

ISA sa mga nag-alala kay Kapuso TV host-comedian Boobay ay ang kanyang ex-boyfriend na physiotherapist na si Kent Resquir.
Hanggang ngayon ay mainit pa ring pinag-uusapan ang naging panayam ng “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” kay Boobay kung saan nagkaroon ito ng silent o mild seizure last Thursday, April 20.
Sa ibinigay na update ni Boobay tungkol sa kanyang kundisyon, sinabi niyang maayos na ang kalagayan niya matapos makatulong nang mahabang oras noong Biyernes, April 21.

“Sinabi naman sa akin ng doktor before na mangyayari talaga after nu’ng ma-ospital ako, maaaring mag-hang ako,” ang pahayag ni Boobay sa panayam ni Tito Boy na ang tinutukoy nga ay ang mga silent seizures na nararanasan niya matapos ma-stroke noong November, 2016.
Bago pa pala mag-guest si Boobay sa “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” ay nagkaroon na rin ng silent seizures ang komedyante nang magbakasyon sila sa Palawan ng dati niyang boyfriend na si Kent Resquir.

Sa kanyang Facebook account, ibinahagi ni Kent ang nangyari sa komedyante, “Boobay and I were ecstatic to finally arrive in El Nido, Palawan after days of planning a holiday. We were eager to explore the island’s pristine beaches and lush jungles. However, as we settled into our hotel, I noticed something strange happening to him.
“At first, I thought he was just daydreaming or lost in thought, but as the days went on, I noticed it happening more frequently.
“Boobay would suddenly stop mid-sentence and stare blankly into space for a few seconds before snapping back to reality and trying to continue the conversation as if nothing had happened.
“I was concerned and asked him if he was feeling okay, but he brushed it off and said he was just tired from working. However, the episodes persisted throughout our trip, and I couldn’t help but worry.

“I was trying to give him calming massage to his hands and deep breathing exercises. We still tried to continue enjoying our trip, albeit with some caution. Still, I did heaps of monitoring,” kuwento ni Kent.
Patuloy pa niya, “I mentioned what happened to him and he has to seek his neurodoctor. He always say yes, but he was stubborn. He is still scared of going to hospital. I even contacted St. Luke’s to find a neurosurgeon.
“As we returned back to Manila from Palawan, I couldn’t help but think this strange event will happen to him especially in television and it did really happen. Now, I couldn’t help as I am miles away but I always remind him to pay attention to his body and seek medical help when something doesn’t feel right.
“Yes, we broke up but I still care for him. And yes, I am still his manager when it comes to his health because he is precious to me.
“I understand that he is going through a tough time, and I apologise and empathise with the pain that he is experiencing. While I want him to stay strong, I also encourage him to be kind to himself as he navigates through life’s challenges. STAY STRONG!” ang pahayag pa ng ex ni Boobay na naninirahan na ngayon sa Australia.

Samantala, sa panayam ni Tito Boy kay Boobay nagkuwento rin ang TV host tungkol sa pagkikita nila ni Kent last month. Sinabi ni Boobay na ipinaglaban pa rin niya ang pagmamahal kay Kent nu’ng magkasama sila sa Palawan.
“Tinray ko pa rin siyang ilaban talaga. Nung umuwi siya this year, itong March lang, tinry ko pa rin.
“Pumunta kami ng Palawan kasi nga sabi, para makapag-break, pero yung talagang point kaya ako nagpunta doon, baka ma-realize niya na puwede pa rin kasi may pangako kami sa isa’t isa before kaya siya pumunta ng Australia.
“Na kapag stable na siya roon, e, susunod ako doon at doon na kami together. Siguro, umasa ako na baka matupad, pero hindi nga nangyari.
“But sabi ko, kung hindi man magkabalikan, at least, may ma-save kami, kahit friends lang kami kasi sayang naman. We are friends today. Okay naman kami,” pahayag ni Boobay.
