COVID-19 positivity rate sa NCR biglang tumaas ngayong Holy Week –OCTA

ALAM naman natin na marami talaga ang nagbakasyon at namasyal nitong Semana Santa, pero hindi alintana na mayroon pa ring pandemya dahil sa COVID-19.

Dahil diyan ay naglabas ng report ang independent pandemic monitor na OCTA Research at ayon sa kanila ay biglang tumaas ang “positivity rate” o bilang ng mga nahahawaan ng virus sa Metro Manila.

Ayon sa tweet ni OCTA research fellow Guido David, lumobo ng 6.5% ang Metro Manila nitong April 8, mas mataas kumpara noong April 1 na nasa 4.4% lamang.

Bukod sa NCR, may iba pang lugar na mahigit 5% ang naging positivity rate at kabilang na riyan ang Benguet, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Cebu, Davao del Sur, Isabela, Misamis Oriental, Negros Occidental, Palawan, Rizal at South Cotabato.

As of April 4, sinabi ni David na ang kabuuang positivity rate sa buong bansa ay nasa 7.1% na.

Para sa kaalaman ng marami, ang itinakdang positive rate benchmark ng World Health Organization (WHO) ay below 5%.

Ibig sabihin niyan, lumagpas na tayo sa nabanggit na benchmark ng WHO.

Narito ang listahan positivity rate ng key areas sa bansa mula April 1 hanggang April 8:

  • Batangas: 2.4 percent to 2.9 percent

  • Metro Manila: 4.4 percent to 6.5 percent

  • Benguet 5.5 percent to 6.3 percent

  • Bulacan: 1.8 percent to 3 percent

  • Camarines Sur: 10.4 percent to 14 percent

  • Cavite: 3.6 percent to 9.3 percent

  • Cebu: 4.7 percent to 7.7 percent

  • Davao del Sur: 7.6 percent to 12.2 percent

  • Iloilo: 1.9 percent to 2.5 percent

  • Isabela: 6.2 percent to 10.9 percent

  • Laguna: 4.6 percent to 4.9 percent

  • Misamis Oriental: 27.4 percent to 16.3 percent

  • Negros Occidental: 2.8 percent to 7.6 percent

  • Palawan: 4.1 percent to 13.6 percent

  • Pampanga: 4.8 percent to 3.6 percent

  • Pangasinan: 2 percent to 2.7 percent

  • Rizal: 5.2 percent to 11.8 percent

  • South Cotabato: 8.6 percent to 10.2 percent

  • Zamboanga del Sur: 2.2 percent to 4.3 percent

Ayon sa Department of Health (DOH), nakapagtala sila ng 9,493 active cases nitong April 9.
