We’re saying this kasi siya pala ay bumibili ng kanyang sariling props para sa kanyang secret agent and mobster role in the series.
“All the guns that I use in the show are my guns. I bought all my props. I have several guns and knives. It’s part of my preparation for this.
“The silver ones, the gold ones are mine. I am about to show you more guns next week,” say sa amin ni Jake during our set visit to the series’ location in Cebu.

Napansin kasi namin sa isang episode na ang ganda ng gold gun na ginamit ni Jake sa series kaya naman natanong naming siya about that.
“The gold one, I got the inspiration from ‘Face Off’ of Nicolas Cage and John Travolta,” say ng actor.

Doon na namin nalaman na lahat ng ginagamit niyang props – from guns to watches to rings – ay binili niya.
“Saka kasama talaga sa prep, eh. I want to personalize my character. I want to feel that the props are really mine. The watches are mine.
“The wardrobe, they help me out with my costumes. The essential things like the watches, the rings, the guns, they’re all mine. Those are my personal stuff,” paliwanag niya.
Ang tawag niya rito ay “investment”, “Of course, if you want to make an investment, if you want to see something different, sometimes kailangan kusa, eh,” say niya.
Ini-reveal ni Jake na natutunan niyang mag-invest sa kanyang character upon the advice of senior actors Eddie Garcia and Albert Martinez.
“Ano ‘yan, eh, it’s my learnings from tito Eddie Garcia, it’s my learnings from Kuya Albert Martinez. I always have to have my personal touch in these roles.
“Of course, these roles are different from how I look like in real life but there still needs a little bit of me in these roles. Here I inject that with my accessories,” paliwanag niya.
