Alice Dixson bilang first time mom: Sa lahat ng role na na-portray ko, this is the best role of my life…

SA kauna-unahang pagkakataon, nag-open up na ang aktres na si Alice Dixson tungkol sa kanyang motherhood journey.
Matatandaan noong April 2021 nang ibinandera ng 53-year-old actress na isa na siyang ganap na ina at kapiling na niya si Baby Aura na nabuo sa pamamagitan ng “surrogacy.”
Sa isang YouTube video upload ay nakapanayam ng celebrity doctor na si Dra. Vicki Belo si Alice at doon niya ikinuwento ang ilan sa mga karanasan niya bilang first time mom.
Ang unang itinanong pa nga ng doktora ay kung matagal nang plinano nina Alice at ng kanyang asawa ang pagkakaroon ng anak.
Ang sagot ng aktres, “Matagal na. The process was almost 10 years in the making…It came to a point that I’m turning 50 soon. Actually, I’m in my late 40s na and I’m like, hindi pa kami nakakabuo. So sabi ko, ‘okay let’s try Vicky’s doctor’.”
Chinika din ng aktres na bagamat mas nanaisin niyang siya na mismo ang magbuntis sa anak ay kinumbinse pa rin siya ng kanyang mister na gawin na lang ito sa pamamagitan ng surrogacy dahil na rin delikado ito sa kanyang edad.
Sey ni Alice, “For me, I think I could have done the journey. But it was my partner who said ‘you know, let’s try a surrogate this time kasi parang you’re getting up there in age’ and for me, I said, ‘okay fine’ kasi I can also work.”
Aniya, It has benefits also but kung ako ang papipiliin, I’d rather have carried my daughter myself.”
Ibinahagi rin ni Alice na mahirap maging ina lalo na’t mayroon na raw siyang edad.
Kwento niya kay Vicki, “It’s really hard pala…At my age, when you’re more mature and ready for a child it’s like, mas mahaba ang pasensya mo.
“You’re loving every minute of the experience, but there’s the part of running around which is kinda hard…So parang it’s a transition but I really love the experience.”
Proud pa niyang sinabi, “This is the best role of my life. Sa lahat ng role na na-portray ko, this is the one that I cherished the most.”
At speaking of Baby Aura, kinamusta rin siyempre ni Dra. Vicki ang tsikiting at base sa naging update ni Alice ay super healthy at bibo ang kanyang anak.
“She’s 20 months now. So she’s climbing, she likes to climb. I’m going to enroll her siguro in gymnastics soon,” chika ng aktres.
Patuloy niya, “She doesn’t talk full sentences pa kaya medyo pag hindi niya masabi ‘yung gusto niya, nafa-frustrate…and then she’s stubborn. If she doesn’t gets what she wants, parang magta-tantrum na ‘yan, and she’s very athletic.”
Excited pang sinabi ni Alice na tatlong lenggwahe ang tinuturo nila kay Baby Aura – English, Tagalog at French.
Tanong ni Belo, “Does she speaks English na?”
Mabilis na sagot ng aktres, “English, Tagalog and then her papa speaks to her in French. So hopefully, she picks up all three languages right away.”
Pati ang pangarap ni Alice para sa anak ay ibinahagi na rin niya sa interview ni Vicki at sinabing nais niyang maging astronaut ang kanyang anak.
“I want her to be the first Filipina astronaut,” sey niya.
