SUPER proud parents sina Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez at Ultimate Singer-Songwriter Ogie Alcasid sa nag-iisa nilang anak na si Nathaniel James o Nate Alcasid.
Naging emosyonal si Regine sa naganap na 11th birthday celebration ng anak sa morning show niya sa ABS-CBN na “Magandang Buhay” kahapon.
Ayon kay Songbird, araw-araw siyang nagpapasalamat sa Panginoong Diyos dahil biniyayaan sila ni Ogie ng napakabait, magalang at mareapetong anak.

“Ako siguro more of parang I feel grateful kay Lord for giving me such a wonderful son. He’s such a good boy, he’s very smart and he loves everyone,” simulang mensahe ni Regine para kay Nate.
Dugtong pa ng singer-actress at TV host, “Hindi siya namimili ng taong kakausapin niya kahit anong age, kahit anong estado ng buhay mo, basta makikipag-usap siya.
“At siyempre mahal na mahal niya ang aming dalawang lola. So I’m very proud of you sweetheart,” aniya pa.
Nagpasalamat din siya sa buong production ng “Magandang Buhay” at sa mga co-host niyang sina Melai Cantiveros at Jolina Magdangal sa pagtanggap kay Nate bilang bahagi ng “Anakshie Squad.”
Nagbigay din ng birthday greeting si Ogie kay Nate sa pamamagitan ng video message, “You have become really, really strong in mind and in heart and we are very proud of you. Your mom and I are very proud of you.
“You know, before you were born, mom and I prayed, ‘God give us a son.’ He gave us you. That’s why we called you Nathaniel – a special gift from God.
“And you are gift, Nate. I hope you continue to be the good person that you are, the humble person that you are, the loving person that you are. I know that you will go places.
“I know that you will do everything so that you will please God and for that I’m very proud of you. I love you very much and I take pride in saying that you are my son,” ani Ogie.
Nakasama rin ni Nate sa kanyang birthday party sa “Magandang Buhay” ang anak ni Jolens na si Pele Escueta at anak ni Melai na si Mela Francisco. Bumisita rin sa studio ang paboritong pinsan ni Nate na si Cian Velasquez.
Sumabak ang mga bagets sa mga parlor games at nagkaroon pa ng science experiment demo sa tulong ng isang “naughty scientist” na ikinatuwa ng mga bata.
