Queen Elizabeth II pumanaw na sa edad na 96
PUMANAW na si Queen Elizabeth II, ang pinakamatagal na naupong monarch sa United Kingdom nitong Setyembre 8, 2022 sa edad na 96.
Payapa ang kanyang pagkamatay habang siya ay nasa Balmoral Castle sa Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
Taong 1952 nang maupo sa trono si Queen Elizabeth II at tumagal ang kanyang reign ng 70 taon.
At sa kanyang pagpanaw ay pumalit sa kanyang trono ang anak na si Prince Charles na tatawagin nang King Charles III.
Naglabas rin ng official statement si King Charles III patungkol sa pagkamatay ni Queen Elizabeth II.
“The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is the moment of the greatest for me and all members of my family.
“We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felth throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.
“During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held.”
Matatandaang nagpunta ng Balmoral ang lahat ng mga anak ni Queen Elizabeth nang sabihin ng mga doktor na “under medical supervision” na ang lagay ng reyna.
Kabilang rito sina Prince William, na ngayon ay next in line na bilang maging hari pati na rin ang kapatid nitong si Prince Harry.
Babalik naman ngayong Biyernes, Setyembre 9 sa London sina King Charles III at ang asawa nitong si Camilla na tatawagin nang Queen Consort upang magbigay ng address sa buong United Kingdom.
