Mungkahing cable car ni Sen. Robinhood Padilla matagal nang aprub; KSMBPI balak i-merge ang traditional media at vloggers
NANG imungkahi ni Senator Robinhood Padilla na magkaroon ng cable car sa Metro Manila para mapabilis ang transportasyon dahil sobrang traffic, marami ang natawa sa kanya dahil imposible raw itong mangyari dahil dagdag gastos na naman ito sa budget ng bansa na mas maraming dapat unahin.
Bukod dito ay hindi raw uubra ito sa lungsod, mas bagay daw ito sa bundok para mas maluwag ang dadaanan tulad sa ibang bansa na may tinatawiran pang dagat at na-experience namin ito sa Hongkong at Singapore.
Kaya naman pala ito binanggit ni Sen. Robin ay dahil approved na pala ito noon pa.
Ayon kay Atty. Philip Jurado, former chief of the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel,
“Take note that the $100-million Marikina-Ortigas cable car project was approved by the Department of Transportation last year and was sent to NEDA for its approval. This cable car project will ease the traffic in the eastern side of Metro Manila per studies of the DOTR.
Under the DoTr proposal, a cable car system spanning 4.5 kilometers will link Marikina and Pasig, with stops in parts of Quezon City and Pasig areas.
Sinegundahan din ng urban planner na si Jun Palafox ang mungkahi ni Sen. Robin.
“An aerial cable car system will not only help alleviate the traffic situation in Metro Manila and other urban centers in the Philippines – it will also boost security and benefit the environment.
“The cable car is environment-friendly, and will future-proof our cities,” sabi nito sa isang radio interview.
Ganito rin daw ang plano ng Department of Tourism na gamitan ng cable cars ang
Boracay at Caticlan; Davao City at Samal; kasama rin ang Ilocos at Cordillera para madaling mapuntahan ng mga turista.
Makakabawas din daw ng crime rate ang paggamit ng cable cars tulad ng Medellin to Cambodia.
Isa pang benepisyo ang paggamit ng cable car system ay kaagad marespondihan ang mga nangyayaring sakuna dahil nakikita kaagad ito sa ere.

Ang founding chairman ng Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas, Incorporated (KSMBPI) na si Dr. Michael Aragon ay planong pagsama-samahin ang
traditional reporters, practitioners of traditional media sa TV, radyo at bloggers/vloggers.
“Aside from the merging or converging platforms ng communication, gusto rin naming i-merge ‘yung traditional reporters, practitioners of traditional media sa TV at radyo, at saka isama sila roon sa mga blogger. Mga TikTokers, ‘yung mga streamer basically. Ang tawag namin sa kanila ay mga community broadcasters.
“We would like to encourage them by training them the basic skills of how to report news since what they’re doing basically sa blogs nila is really communicating,” pahayag ni dr. Aragon na isa ring movie producer.
Magkakaroon daw ng training ang 1-2 milyon miyembro sa buong Pilipinas ng libre, “We would like to train aspiring community bloggers, broadcasters na walang formal university sa mas communication for free. After that, we will give them diploma and certifications.
Ang KSMBPI ay isang non-profit organization na sinimulan noong 2017 at dumarami na ang miyembro at marami na rin silang nagawang proyekto.
Ang KSMBPI ay may dalawang dibisyon, ang Broadcast/Print and Film. Nakagawa na ang organisasyon nila ng isang independent film, ang Umbra na naipalabas na internationally at nakamit nito ang Best director awards na si Jeremiah Palma mula sa Roshani International Film Festival and the Venus International Film Festival sa India nitong 2022.
“Napaka-suwerte namin because last month, one of the films ng KSMBPI na prinodyus namin ay naging participant sa international filmfests and we won,”sambit ni doc Michael.
At dahil sa awards na tinamo ng Maya Productions ay naka-plano na ni doc Michael na gumawa ng indie movie kada buwan at open siyang makipag co-produce sa mga kilalang producers ng bansa.
