“Definitely yes. Parang just the same as any LGBTQIA candidates, kasi yung tinitingnan naman is your capacity to compete mentally, physically.

Pilipinas International taong 1994.

Dagdag pa ni Alma, “Kaya I’m very happy simula nung may nag-compete nga na trans, and then now lesbian, so magandang opportunity yun.”

“May mga strength ang mga third sex, LGBTQIA, it’s their time to shine. Kasi napapansin ko, even my brother who’s gay, napapansin ko lahat ng mga kaibigan niya, lahat productive, lahat successful, so nawawala na yung…mali na yung stigma noon na if you’re gay, kawawa ka naman.

“Nababago na yun. Actually, marami ngang businesses tina-target ang mga single, e, kasi they’re the spending crowd, di ba?

“So sila yung ano, sila yung powerful, very powerful ang LGBTQIA when it comes to economy kasi sila yung spending,” sabi pa ni Alma.

“Kaya malaking empowerment ito, malaking opportunity, tsaka hindi limitasyon ang gender mo to do whatever you like.

“If you want to compete, if you wanna be a parent, if you wanna shine in whatever career, kahit ano ka pa, kahit ano’ng gender meron ka, it’s a, kumbaga hindi na dapat sinasali yung sexual preference mo when it comes to excellence.

“If you’re very good at what you’re doing di ba, hindi na dapat kinukuwestiyon what you’re doing in your bedroom,” paliwanag pa ng aktres.
