Basher supalpal kay Ely Buendia sa ‘fake news’: All you have to do is check if the source is credible
MAINIT ang naging sagot ng Eraserheads lead vocalist na si Ely Buendia sa isang netizen na nagtanong kung expert nga ba siya sa fake news.
Sa kanyang Twitter account ay diretsahan niyang sinagot ang netizen at sinabing hindi naman kailangan maging “expert” para malaman kung fake news ang isang bagay.
“You don’t have to be an expert on fake news. All you have to do is check if the source is credible. Try it,” saad ni Ely.
Nilinaw naman niya kung ano ba ang tinutumbok ng netizen. Kung siya ba ay expert sa pag-alam kung ano ang fake news or expert sa pagpapakalat nito.
Pagpapatuloy ni Ely, “If you mean am I expert on SPREADING fake news, no I’m not. That rather dubious distinction goes to the trolls and apologists.”

May kaugnayan ang reply ng netizen sa mga tweets ng singer patungkol sa mga taong hindi nagbabayad ng buwis at hindi man lang mahabol ng Bureau of Internal Revenue o BIR.
“When the BIR can’t even do anything about certain individuals who owe us tons of money, isn’t that the very definition of elitism? Fight me,” tweet ni Ely na umani ng iba’t ibang reaksyon mula sa netizens.
Hindi pa nga dito nagtatapos ang patutsada ng mangangawit at kahapon, April 6 ay muli itong nag-tweet patungkol sa buwis.
Aniya, napakarami raw na “feeling” tax experts at lexicographers na nagle-lecture sa kanya ukol sa taxation.
“Good news, andami palang tax experts at lexicographers sa Pilipinas, they wasted no time in schooling me with their vast knowledge of tax laws and definitions of elitism,” tweet ni Ely kung saan siya tinanong kung expert naman ba siya sa fake news.
Anyways, isa si Ely sa mga personalidad na sumusuporta kina Vice President Leni Robredo na tumatakbo sa pagkapresidente at kay Sen. Kiko Pangilinan na tumatakbo naman bilang bise presidente ng bansa.
Sa kanyang tweet noong April 4 ay sinabi niya na kahit na maraming paninira ang ginagawa ng ibang partido laban sa tambalang Leni-Kiko, babalik at babalik pa rin daw sa kung ano ang track record at plataporma ang labanan.
“Kahit gaano kahaba ang prosesyon (at palusot ng enablers), babalik at babalik pa rin sa plataporma at track record. #LetLeniAndKikoLead,” sey ni Ely.
