Narito ang kabuuan ng opisyal na pahayag ng istasyon: “GMA Network Inc. has announced that its senior radio-tv anchor and concurrent RGMA Network, Inc. president Mike Enriquez will take a medical leave of absence.
“He will undergo a medical procedure that will require hospital confinement and, afterwards, a minimum of three months isolation period as advised by his doctor.
“He is expected to be back at work in time for GMA’s massive Eleksyon 2022 coverage.
“In a statement, GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon said, ‘We support Mike’s decision to undergo the procedure that he needs.
“We ask for everyone’s prayers and we wish him Godspeed. We look forward to welcoming Mike back as soon as he is cleared to return to work.’
“Mike said he looks forward to the healing he has been praying and preparing for. He also looks forward to resuming his duties specially for GMA’s Eleksyon 2022 coverage.”
Sabi ni Mike noon sa isang press statement, “My doctors have told me that two to four weeks after my surgery, I will be able to return to my normal duties.”
“While I am not yet back on the air, I continue to perform my functions as president of RGMA Network Inc. and as Consultant for Radio of GMA Network Inc,” aniya pa.
