BUMABA ang presyo ng sayote sa Benguet sa P2 kada kilo dahil sa oversupply.
Sa isang post sa Facebook ng Tagani Philippines, sinabi nito na may sobra-sobrang suplay ng gulay sa Benguet at nakatakda pang mag-ani ng tone-toneladang sayote ang mga magsasaka.
“They (sayote) are currently being bought at P2 per kilogram by middlemen. The farmers still have TONS of sayote to harvest,” sabi ng Tagani.
Nanawagan ang Tagani, na isang digital agribusiness firm, na bilhin ng mga mamimili ang sayote ng 10 kilo sa halagang P180.
