MULING nagbuga ng abo ang Bulkang Mayon ngayong umaga, ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
May taas na 300 metro ang ibinugang abo ng bulkan alas-6:27 ng umaga.
Noong Huwebes ng alas-8:11 ng umaga ay nagbuga rin ng abo ang bulkan at may taas itong 500 metro.
Kapag gabi ay nakikita din na nagliliwanag ang bunganga ng bulkan.
Nananatiling nakataas ang Alert Level 2 o moderate level of unrest ang bulkan. Ipinatutupad din sa lugar ang six kilometer-radius Permanent Danger Zone at pitong kilometrong precautionary radius Extended Danger Zone.
“People residing close to these danger areas are also advised to observe precautions associated with rockfalls, PDCs (pyroclastic density currents) and ashfall.”
