Paaralan posibleng matanggalan ng permit matapos sunugin ang mga bag sa CamSur

SINABI ng Department of Education (DepEd) Bicol na rerepasuhin nito ang kanyang polisiya para malaman kung anong parusa ang ipapataw sa Bicol Central Academy matapos namang sunugin ang mga bag ng mag-aaral na hindi sumunod sa “no-bag rule”.

Ipinag-utos ni Alexander James Jaucian, school head ng Bicol Central Academy sa bayan ng Libmanan, ang panununog sa mga bag ng mga estudyante matapos umanong mabigong tumalima sa kautusan na “no-bag rule” sa isinagawang Tasumaki Day ng paaralan, kung saan umaktong guro ang mga mag-aaral habang nasa conference ang mga guro.

Idinagdag ni DepEd Bicol Regional Director Gilbert Sadsad na nalulungkot siya sa pangyayari at nagsasagawa na ng imbestigasyon.

“There was a clear violation of our child protection policy,” ayon pa kay Sadsad.

“For child abuse, we will recommend to [a] certain group or agency like [the Department of Social Welfare and Development] for criminal charges, but this is still to be studied,” dagdag ni Sadsad.
