Pabuya sa 4 na leftist leaders maaaring umabot sa P2M

MAAARING umabot sa P2 milyon ang pabuya para sa ikaaaresto ng apat na lider ng makakaliwang grupo, ayon sa abogadong si Ferdinand Topacio.

Ito ang reaksyon ni Topacio sa pahayag ng mga lider ng militante matapos namang sabihin na ito’y “cheap publicity stunt.”

“Sabi po ni Ka Nato (Renato) Reyes, di ba kaibigan natin iyan, na cheap publicity stunt daw po yung P1 million. Titingnan po natin kung dadagdagan pa natin,” sabi ni Topacio sa panayam sa Radyo Inquirer 990 AM.

“Kung para sa kanya ay cheap yung P1 million, gawin siguro nating P2 million, titingnan natin kung may magdodonate,” dagdag ni Topacio.

Ayon kay Topacio galing ang P1 milyon sa mga “concerned citizens” para maaresto sina dating  Bayan Muna Representative Satur Ocampo at Teddy Casiño at dating Anakpawis Representative Rafael Mariano at National Anti Poverty Commission (NAPC) Head Liza Maza.

Nauna nang sinabi ni Topacio na magbibigay ang mga “concerned citizens” ng tig-P250,000 para sa ikakaaresto ng apat na militanteng lider.

Binatikos naman ito nina Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) Secretary General Renato Reyes at Bayan Muna Rep. Carlos Isagani Zarate  sa pagsasabing ito ay isangv “lame and cheappolitical stunt.”

“The reward money for the arrest of Satur, Liza, Teddy, and Paeng is nothing but a lame publicity stunt that unfortunately endangers the lives of the four accused,” sabi ni Reyes.
