Dingdong Dantes, hindi tatakbo sa 2016 elections

DIRETSAHANG sinagot ni Dingdong Dantes na hindi siya tatakbo bilang senador sa ilalim ng Liberal Party (LP) sa nalalapit na 2016 elections.
“Well, definitely, I’ll not run.” ani Dingdong.
Sa panayam ng Pep.PH, sinabi ng aktor na wala siyang planong tumakbo sa kahit anong posisyon sa darating na eleksyon ngunit patuloy siya sa paglilingkod sa kabataang Pilipino. Ayon pa kay Dingdong, pinagtutuunan niya ng pansin ang kanyang trabaho sa GMA at higit sa lahat sa pag-aalaga sa kanyang buntis na asawa na si Marian Rivera.
“I’m categorically saying that I’m not running in any electoral post this 2016,” paglilinaw pa nito.
Gayunpaman, sinabi ni Dingdong na isang karangalan ang mapasama sa listahan ng posibleng senatorial candidates ng LP.
Bukod kay Dingdong, kasama rin sa listahan sina Quezon City Mayor Herbert “Bistek” Bautista, Manila City Vice Mayor “Isko Moreno,” Justice Secretary Leila de Lima, Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Francis Tolentino at Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo bilang mga kandidato para sa Senado.
