Lacson nagbabalak tumakbo sa pagka-pangulo sa 2016

SINABI kahapon ni dating senador Panfilo Lacson na bukas siya sa pagtakbo bilang presidente sa 2016 elections.
“Yes, I confirm,” sabi ni Lacson matapos mapaulat na sasali na rin siya sa mga kakandidato sa pagkapangulo sa susunod na taon.
Sinasabing suportado si Lacson ng mga retiradong pulis at militar.
“Last night, I was invited by several retired AFP and PNP officers, some of whom were not able to sign the manifesto that came out in the newspaper ads and most of them pledged to help in the effort even before I make the decision to go for it. That’s where we are now,” dagdag ni Lacson.
Nagsilbi si Lacson bilang hepe ng Philippine National Police (PNP) noong panahon ni dating pangulo at ngayon ay Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada.
Matatandaang isang buong pahinang ad ang lumabas kung saan 35 retiradong pulis at militar ang nagpahayag ng pagsuporta sa kandidatura nina Sen. Grace Poe at Lacson para sa 2016.
Ayon pa kay Lacson, maaari siyang tumakbo bilang independent.
“Politics in our country and even in other countries of the world is always bound by numbers, and support from political parties and groups is largely dependent on the winnability of prospective candidates. At least that’s what I learned in the 12 years that I spent in the Senate,” dagdag ni Lacson.
