Lea pinayuhan si Pacman bilang judge sa Miss Universe
May payo ang international award-winning singer na si Lea Salonga kay Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao sa pag-up nitong judge sa darating na Miss Universe beauty pageant na gaganapin sa Amerika sa Jan. 25.
May karapatang magbigay ng advice ang isa sa mga coach sa The Voice of the Philippines dahil naging judge na rin siya sa Miss Universe ilang taon na ang nakararaan.
Ayon kay Lea, siguradong mag-eenjoy daw si Pacman sa pagdya-judge sa nasabing international beauty pageant tulad ng naging experience niya noon.
“I don’t know who the rest of the panelists are but I think Manny will have a good time. When you’re there, you have to be really objective and you become really really objective like ‘How does this person look in her bathing suit?’” ayon kay Lea sa interview ng ABS-CBN.
“Hindi lang puwedeng big picture lang (ang titingnan mo). You have to look at it like, ‘Oh this is not falling well. The proportions are wrong.’ You get really nitpicky with everything,” dugtong pa ni coach Lea.
Inamin naman ng singer na hindi madali ang maging judge sa Miss Universe, “One thing that I discovered, it’s not as easy as it looks and it’s not as easy as when you’re doing it at home on your sofa in your pajamas.
You have to be really objective. How things look on TV is different from how it looks like.” Kung matatandaan, isa si Lea sa naging judge sa Miss U noong 2011 kung saan nanalong third-runner up si Shamcey Supsup.
Ngayong taon naman, si Binibining Pilipinas-Universe Mary Jean Lastimosa ang ilalaban natin kung saan nga uupo si Pacman bilang isa sa mga judge. Gaganapin ito sa Miami, Florida, USA sa darating na Linggo.
