“Actually, I just wanna say how honored I am to be here, to be part of the Grand Santacruzan kasi I, myself, I have not been to Santacruzan at all. I watched it, but I was never a part of it,” chika niya sa isang mini presscon kamakailan lang.
Dagdag niya, “So being here and of course to witness that for the month of May, I would be so honored. So to be here and be part of the Grand Santacruzan, I am very excited.”

Sa isinagawang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing noong March 25, opisyal nang nagsanib-pwersa ang Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) at Intramuros Administration (IA) upang gawing mas engrande ang Grand Santacruzan ngayong taon.
Present sa signing event sina IA Administrator Joan Padilla, PTAA President Evangeline Tankiang-Manotoc, at Department of Tourism Asec. Sharlene Zabala-Batin.

“In Miss Universe Philippines, we have advocacies, we have #LoveForAll. So I just wanna share that kasi during my time [in MUPH], my advocacy which is called ‘Love for Heritage.’ We were able to contribute also in promoting different kinds of tourism, cultures anywhere that we can be and anywhere in the Philippines or in other countries,” sey ni Chelsea nang tanungin ng BANDERA.
Chika pa niya, “So being here as one of the beauty queens who will be participating in the Grand Santacruzan is… I think about reaching out to cultures, it’s about reaching and educating people nowadays.”
“Because to be honest, even if Santacruzan is evident anywhere in the country, there’s still so much that we can share not just here but also internationally. So as the [event] opens… I will be very proud to share our cultures and our country, specifically here in Grand Santacruzan that I will partake,” aniya pa.
“We are excited to showcase all the tourism sites here in Intramuros—our UNESCO heritage site San Agustin, our jewel Fort Santiago, even our office Palacio del Gobernador… there are actually 52 sites in Intramuros kaya we’re very much excited to showcase that not just to Filipinos but to the rest of the world with this Intramuros’ Grand Santacruzan 2025,” wika ni Padilla.
Hirit naman ni PTAA President Tankiang-Manotoc, “This coming May, everyone can come, watch, and enjoy! Kasi ang mga Santacruzan natin, ang alam po natin is nangyayari sa mga barangay, which is beautiful, part of our culture, part of our celebration in fiestas, but this time around, we are making it bigger and better.”
