Intramuros, PTAA sanib-pwersa para sa bonggang Grand Santacruzan 2025

MAGHANDA na para sa pinakabonggang summer spectacle ng taon!
Babandera kasi sa darating na Mayo ang isang engrande at makasaysayang “Grand Santacruzan 2025” na masasaksihan sa puso ng Intramuros.
Noong March 25, naimbitahan ang BANDERA sa Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing sa pagitan ng Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) at Intramuros Administration (IA) upang opisyal nang magkaisa sa nasabing event.
Layunin nitong gawing mas engrande at mas makahulugan ang isa sa pinakapinong kulturang tradisyon ng Pilipinas—ang Santacruzan.

Present diyan sina Intramuros Administrator Joan Padilla, PTAA President Evangeline Tankiang-Manotoc, Department of Tourism Asec. Sharlene Zabala-Batin, at Miss Universe Asia Chelsea Manalo na magkakaroon ng special participation sa nasabing okasyon.
“The Grand Santacruzan is not only a celebration of faith and beauty, but also an opportunity to highlight the vibrancy of the border of a Filipina in travel –graceful, empowered, and deeply rooted in our nation’s identity. We sincerely thanked the Department of Tourism for their continued support and promoting our country’s traditions and cultural tourism,” sey ng PTAA president sa kanyang talumpati.
Patuloy niya, “With this partnership, we embark on a journey with history, tourism, and culture ensuring that our traditions continue to inspire future generations.”
Tugon naman ng Intramuros administrator, “By joining hands with the PTAA, we are not only ensuring the successful staging of the Intramuros’ Grand Santacruzan 2025 but we are promoting cultural tourism and showcasing the unique beauty of our Walled City.”
Dagdag niya, “We envision the Intramuros’ Grand Santacruzan 2025 as a grand spectacle that will captivate the local and international tourists with no less than our Miss Universe Asia 2024 Chelsea Manalo as one of our guests.”
Bukod sa makapigil-hiningang parada ng sagala, tampok din sa Grand Santacruzan 2025 ang iba’t ibang makasaysayang pasyalan sa Intramuros.
“We are excited to showcase all the tourism sites here in Intramuros –our UNESCO heritage site San Agustin, our jewel Fort Santiago, even our office Palacio del Gobernador…there are actually 52 sites in Intramuros kaya we’re very much excited to showcase that not just to Filipinos but to the rest of the world with this Intramuros’ Grand Santacruzan 2025,” pagmamalaki ni Padilla.
Ang nakakatuwang balita pa, ito ay bukas sa publiko!
“This coming May, everyone can come, watch and enjo! Kasi ang mga santacruzan natin, ang alam po natin is nangyayari sa mga barangay, which is beautiful, part of our culture, part of our celebration in fiestas but this time around, we are making it bigger and better,” sambit ng PTAA official.
Sa tanong kung paano napapayag agad ang Intramuros Administration na makipagtulungan, mabilis ang sagot ni Padilla: “Intramuros are very much happy to welcome this kind of events and activities not just for May but all year-round…so hindi na kami naligawan, oo agad, agad-agad.”
Hirit pa niya, “Kaya nga not just in 2025, but hopefully this will become yearly here in Intramuros.”
Malaki ang inaasahang epekto ng Grand Santacruzan 2025 sa turismo at ekonomiya ng bansa.
“This is a big boost in terms of our visitor arrivals because definitely, this could be promoted not just here in the Philippines, but all over the world. I mean, encouraging international visitors to come to the Philippines and to visit Intramuros and witness this Grand Santacruzan is a big boost for Intramuros,” sagot niya sa BANDERA.
Esplika pa niya, “Hopefully not just in tourism, but a big boost in our economy as well…[dahil] meron nang incentive, pwede nang ma-incentivise ang shopping. Merong mga stores dito where you can shop ng puro souvenirs ng Philippines and Intramuros.”
Sa patuloy na pagtutulungan ng PTAA, IA, at iba pang stakeholders sa industriya ng turismo, asahang magiging isang engrandeng selebrasyon ang Grand Santacruzan 2025.
Kaya’t markahan na ang kalendaryo sa darating na May 23 at maging bahagi ng isang makulay at makasaysayang paglalakbay sa Intramuros!
