Ayon sa exclusive interview namin kay Crisantha Valencia, Tourism Operation Officer ng Intramuros, perpektong lugar ang makasaysayang lungsod para sa couples na gusto ng kakaiba, romantiko, at Instagrammable na date spot.

“Since Spanish-era architecture siya, may mga cobblestone streets and also warm street lights, especially sa gabi, perfect siya as a romantic date spot. Instagram-worthy din ang Intramuros, kaya perfect for couples na mahilig mag-picture during dates,” paliwanag sa amin.

Bukod sa pagiging isang dreamy date destination, sinabi ni Chris na may bonus pang cultural at historical experience ang pagbisita rito.

Maraming activities na pwedeng gawin sa Intramuros na siguradong magpapasaya sa inyong Valentine’s date!

“They can go on a walking tour, they can visit key historical sites, such as Fort Santiago, Baluarte de San Diego, Casa Manila Museum, and of course, our newly opened tourist hub –the Centro de Turismo Intramuros, as well as the Museo de Intramuros,” pagbabahagi ni Chris.

Dagdag niya, “They can also rent a bike or kalesa ride na pwede silang mag-explore around Intramuros in a fun and eco-friendly manner.”

Bukod diyan, marami ring cozy restaurants and cafes na nag-aalok ng mga classic Filipino dishes na perfect para sa isang intimate dinner date!

Kung curious kayo sa mga entrance fee, ang Intramuros mismo ay libre!

Pero kung gusto ninyong mag-tour sa historical sites at sa ilang museum, ang babayaran lamang ay nasa P75 hanggang P150 depende kung estudyante, PWD, senior citizen, o government employee.

Take note lang din na may mga libre rin, katulad na lamang ng Centro de Turismo Intramuros.

Pagdating naman sa pagkain, depende kung ano ang trip ninyo dahil may mga affordable options para sa mga tipid-mode couples at fine dining restaurants para naman sa mga gusto ng bonggang date night.

Nabanggit din sa amin ng tourism operation officer na magkakaroon sila ng special event sa Araw ng mga Puso.

Tinawag nila itong “Dia de San Valentin” na gaganapin sa Baluarte de San Diego.

“[We have] love-filled activities such as friendship making bracelet, balloon art making, and also on the spot sketch na available for the first 70 couples,” chika ni Chris

Patuloy niya, “We also have Intarmuros Tranventure where they can ride a Tranvia and explore Intarmuros around.”
