Tortang talong ng Pinoy waging Top 2 sa ’50 best egg dishes in the world’

PASOK ang isa sa mga favorite nating Pinoy comfort food na tortang talong sa “50 best egg dishes in the world” ng TasteAtlas.
Tinalbugan ng super yummy na talong dish na ito ang napakaraming pagkain sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng mundo matapos itong mapili bilang ikalawa sa listahan ng online food guide na TasteAtlas ng “50 best egg dishes in the world.”
Sa Facebook post ng TasteAtlas, makikitang nakakuha ang tortang talong ng 4.4 score out of 5 rating.
Base naman sa kanilang official website, inilarawan ng kilalang food guide ang tortang talong bilang “simple Filipino dish” na kumbinasyon ng inihaw na talong at binating itlog.

“Whole eggplants are dipped into the egg mixture and are then shortly pan-fried until the entire dish starts to resemble a crispy omelet,” ayon sa TasteAtlas.
Mababasa rin dito ang description nila na karaniwang inihahain at kinakain ang tortang talong with rice, kamatis o ketchup. Pwede itong lafangin tuwing agahan, tanghalian o hapunan.

“This versatile delicacy is easily adapted with additional ingredients such as ground meat and vegetables, and it is traditionally served accompanied by steamed rice and tomato or banana ketchup.
“Inexpensive and quickly prepared, tortang talong can be enjoyed at any time of day as a hearty breakfast, lunch, or dinner,” ayon pa sa TasteAtlas.
Ang nakakuha naman ng top spot ay ang Ajitsuke tamago o ramen eggs ng Japan na may score rin na 4.4.
Last year, pumasok din ang tortang talong sa 5th spot ng TasteAtlas Top 100 Filipino food.
