Inka Magnaye ginagamit ng scammer para makapagnakaw ng pera

NAGBIGAY ng warning ang content creator at voice artist na si Inka Magnaye sa kanyang mga kapamilya at kaibigan hinggil sa mga scammer na gumagamit sa kanyang pangalan at identity.
Sa kanyang official Facebook page, nag-post si Inka ng mensahe upang bigyang babala ang kanyang mga social media followers kaugnay ng mga sindikatong nagpapanggap na siya.
Ayon sa podcaster at aktres, meron daw gumagamit ng pangalan niya para umutang ng pera sa mga taong kakilala niya.
Ibinahagi niya sa Facebook ang ilang screenshot kung saan mababasa ang mga mensahe ng nagpapanggap na siya at nanghihingi ng pera gamit ang iba’t ibang rason.
Base sa tatlong screenshot, sinabi ng nagpapanggap na Inka na na-limit na raw ang kanyang bank account kaya umuutang ito ng pera para makapag-book ng ticket patungong Japan.

Ang inilagay namang caption ni Inka sa kanyang FB post, “SCAMMER ALERT. Someone’s pretending to be me to steal money from people.
“FYI I would never ask anyone to front me money like that,” ang paalala pa ni Inka sa madlang pipol.
Narito naman ang mga comments ng netizens sa post ni Inka.
“How did the scammer know the names of the people on the other end, or how did they know who to message? Could it be your info (phonebook, etc) has been compromised or something to that effect?”
“Curious question: bat knows nya mga names ng mga taong malalapit kay Inka?”
“Madam, make sure to check all your email addresses/accounts. Lalo ung ginagamit mo to backup your details like messages and contact numbers. Check the login devices from the settings ng email addresses/accounts mo. Makikita mo kung saan ka naka login na device or computer. Remove it or logout kung di ka familiar. And make sure to change your password regularly.”
“Ate hahhaha grabe Japan pa. did they hack you r number and contacts?”
“It happened to my daughter, her messenger was hacked. The scammer was able to get more than 60k from 4 different people.. (3 of my daughters friends and her brother) They read all your convos on messenger and they’ll try to mimic you.”
