Butch Francisco pinuri ang ‘Uninvited’: ‘Sa edad 71, kaya pang mag-aksyon ni Vilma!’

KAGABI, December 28, lang ibinandera ni Butch Francisco, ang dating miyembro ng Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino (2017), sa kanyang YouTube Channel ang rebyu niya sa pelikulang “Uninvited” na pinagbibidahan nina Aga Muhlach, Nadine Lustre at Ms. Vilma Santos.
Nakakaaliw ang pagkaka-kuwento ni Butch sa pelikula ni Ate Vi dahil sinabi niyang, “Hindi mo aakalain na sa edad na 71 ay kaya pang mag-aksyon ng lola ni Peanut (apo kina Luis Manzano at Jessy Mendiola).”
Kaya naman ang subscribers niyang nakapanood ng rebyu ay nagkaisa na may karapatan ang TV host dahil nga dating miyembro ito ng Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino.
Isa-isa naming binasa ang mga komento sa thread ng YT ni Butch at marami ang nagtatanong kung bakit hindi nominado si Aga sa nakaraang 50th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal.

“I watched already the movie Uninvited. I do agree with your review. Being an URIAN member, I really TRUST your review. My question is why is it that the movie was not nominated in other technical categories most specially Mr. Aga Mulach?”
“Agree po. Even I myself rooted for it in many categories sa MMFF kasi kakaiba to start with. Bihira ang ganitong pelikula lalo na ang execution. Sayang. I hope this will do well sa mga award giving bodies next year! Congratulations UNINVITED! AGA MUHLACH deserves to be nominated and win for best actor!”
“I know MMFF will not give Best actress to Vilma 2 years in a row, but wow, this movie level up talaga.”

“Ok, tama lang 4.5, acting wise mahusay cla talaga, anyway talo man, uulitin pa rin naming magkakaibigan na manood uli.”
“It’s unfortunate the MMFF 50 failed to recognize the excellent performances of the actors in the movie. Why Aga Mulach was not even nominated for Best Actor taints the integrity of the awards. He doesn’t have to emerge winner if ayaw nila sa kanya. But to not even be nominated? Why? MMFF’s spokesman has no explanation. I hope Uninvited shall be redeemed in due time by the other prestigious award giving bodies.”
