LPA na dating ‘Querubin’ posibleng maging bagyo ulit, magpapaulan pa rin

TATLONG weather systems ang kasalukuyang nakakaapekto sa panahon ng ating bansa.

Ayon sa Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), ito ang hanging Amihan, Shearline o ‘yung banggaan ng mainit at malamig na hangin, at ang Low Pressure Area (LPA).

Base sa forecast ni Weather Specialist Obet Badrina ngayong umaga, December 20, huling namataan ang LPA sa coastal waters ng Mahinog, Camiguin.

“Ito ‘yung dating bagyong Querubin at ito nga ay malapit na sa may area ng Camiguin sa may Northern Mindanao,” sey niya sa isang press briefing na ibinandera sa Facebook.

Paliwanag niya, “May tiyansa pa rin na maging bagyo ito, pero posibleng bandang araw na ng Linggo (Dec. 22) habang ito ay kumikilos sa may bahagi ng West Philippines Sea.”

“So posible pa rin itong maging bagyo sa may labas o habang lumalabas ito ng ating Philippine Area of Responsibility kaya patuloy pa rin tayong magmo-monitor dito sa Low Pressure Area,” esplika pa niya.

Ayon naman sa weather bulletin ng ahensya, ang LPA ay magdadala ng kalat-kalat na pag-ulan sa Visayas, Mindanao, at Palawan.

Gayundin ang mararanasan sa Bicol Region, Quezon, at nalalabing bahagi ng MIMAROPA ngunit dulot naman ito ng Shear Line.

Dahil naman sa Northeast Monsoon o Amihan, asahan ang cloudy skies with rains sa Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, at Aurora.

May isolated rains naman sa Metro Manila at sa natitirang lugar sa Luzon.
