LRT, MRT ibinandera na ang ‘schedule’ para sa holiday season

PASABOG na balita para sa commuters, lalo na ngayong holiday season!
Inanunsyo ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang bagong schedule ng mga tren sa Metro Manila bilang paghahanda sa holiday rush.
Ayon kay Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, ang layunin kasi nila ay para mapaglingkuran ang mas maraming pasahero ngayong Kapaskuhan at Bagong Taon.
“On select days, our trains will operate earlier in the morning and later into the night to offer greater convenience to passengers during the holiday season,” sey niya.
LRT-1: Sa December 25, magsisimula ang unang biyahe ng tren ng 5:00 a.m. imbes na regular na 4:30 a.m.

LRT-2: Ang huling biyahe sa Christmas Eve ay mas maaga ng 30 minutes, magtatapos na ito ng 8:30 p.m.
MRT-3: Sa December 25 at January 1, mas late ang unang biyahe ng dalawang oras, 6:36 a.m. na ito magsisimula, pero sa December 24 at 31 ay mas maaga rin ang huling biyahe ng isang oras, 8:30 p.m. na ang cutoff.
Paliwanag ng kalihim, ang mga adjustment na ito ay para rin mabigyan ng oras ang mga empleyado ng riles na makasama ang kanilang pamilya sa selebrasyon ng Pasko at Bagong Taon.
