Ron Antonio, libu-libong zumba dancers hahataw sa ‘Wow Zayaw 2024’
HANDANG-HANDA na ang tinaguriang Zumba King na si Ron Antonio, sa magaganap na tinaguriang largest Zumba dance event sa Pilipinas.
Hahataw na ang bonggang event sa December 1, 2024 sa Quezon Memorial Circle sa Quezon City sa pangunguna ni Ron Antonio na dating member ng grupong Wiseguys.
Sa annual event na ito, under Antonio’s trademark Zayaw Pilipinas, inaasahang magsasama-sama ang mga zumba and dance instructors mula sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Pilipinas.
Ron Antonio successfully hosted a jam-packed event last year, and in 2018, he organized a historic Zumba event in Pili, Camarines Sur, which gathered 14,000 attendees and was certified by Guinness World Records as the largest zumba class ever.
“I’m quite enthusiastic about the forthcoming Zumba event. It not only emphasizes Zumba, but also encourages a healthy lifestyle and a sense of community.
“Our zumba and dance instructors deserve recognition for their enthusiasm and energy. Zumba is everywhere,” ang pahayag ni Ron.
Antonio’s purpose is to promote Zumba as a form of fitness since he feels that health is wealth. Aside from the health benefits, zumba is also a place where you can meet new people and have fun.
He created the brand Zayaw Pilipinas in November 2015 as a music album, not realizing that 9 years later it would blossom into a full-fledged fitness program.
Si Ron Antonio ay ang first and only Filipino zumba instructor and recording artist to record and release zumba-inspired OPM albums, kabilang na ang Zayaw Pilipinas noong 2016, Pinas Zayaw noong 2018, Pinas Zayaw Remix noong 2020, at Zayaw Remix noong 2021.
Kasabay nito, sa December 1, iri-release rin ng singer-dancer ang kanyang latest EP Zayaw Mundo. The event will also include the Grand Zayaw Parade, in which all zumba groups will walk, dance, and parade in their colorful, glittering, festive costumes.
“The difference is that I use my own music for all of my zumba events, as well as my Zumba Fitness program.
“I wrote all of the songs, and as an artist, I believe I should be innovative. I am also pleased that several of these songs were used on TikTok,” lahad pa ni Ron.
