Ex-member ng bandang Wiseguys na si Ron Antonio magbabalik bilang Zumba King sa ‘Zayaw Saya 2023’, hahataw sa Pinas, Canada at Europe

NAKAKALOKA! Napasayaw din kami nang bonggang-bongga sa ginanap na presscon ng pagbabalik ng pinakamalaking Zumba event sa bansa, ang “Zayaw Saya 2023”.
Humataw kasi ang mga Zumba instructors sa naturang mediacon na ginanap sa Fisher Mall, Quezon City, sa pangunguna ng singer at dating member ng bandang Wiseguys na aging napapanood noon sa Kapuso youth-oriented show na “That’s Entertainment” na si Ron Antonio.
Bago matapos ang kanilang performance ay niyaya ni Ron ang ilang members ng press at pina-join sa kanilang Zumba performance. In fairness, sa ilang minutong pagsasayaw namin ay pinagpawisan kami agad (at napagod din nang bonggang-bongga. Ha-hahahaha!)
Taong 2018 nang bansagan si Ron Antonio, bilang Zumba King ng Pilipinas matapos makagawa ng record-breaking Zumba event na dinaluhan ng 14,000 participants na ginawa sa Pili, Camarines Sur.

Organized under Antonio’s brand Zayaw Pilipinas, the event was recognized as the biggest Zumba class by the Guinness World Records.
At ngayong 2023, magbabalik nga si Ron sa eksena para sa big comeback ng “Zayaw Saya” na hahataw na sa April 23, Sunday, 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., sa Quezon Memorial Circle.
“This fitness event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle through a fun Zumba experience with games, a dance showcase, a concert, and Zayaw party,” sabi ni Ron.

In fairness, sa nakalipas na mga taon, nakatanggap na rin ng mga awards ang singer-dancer. He was a multi-gold medalist at the 2019 World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in the United States, and his dance albums have been awarded Best Dance Albums in 2016 for Zayaw Pilipinas and in 2019 for Pinas Zayaw by Star Awards for Music.
Si Ron din ang unang Filipino na nakapag-release ng OPM Zumba music album, “It’s good to be back this year. I want to encourage everyone of all ages to take care of their health.
“I’ve been doing Zumba for so long and I’ve been enjoying the benefits. It sets my mood, and my energy, and keeps my body active. My Zumba event is always filled with fun, dance, and party elements,” mensahe ni Ron Antonio na naging miyembro rin noon ng grupong Wiseguys.
“During my Zumba events, I also sing some of my released original songs. Sabi nila, kakaiba raw kasi sarili kong kanta ‘yung ginagamit sa Zumba. It’s really very personal!” aniya pa.

At knows n’yo ba na tumulong din si Ron sa mga Zumba and dance fitness instructors noong kasagsagan ng pandemya. The Zumba King spearheaded a fundraising initiative to assist his colleagues in the dance fitness industry.
As Zumba King, Antonio was tapped to co-host Eat Bulaga’s Zumbarangay in 2018. He is the only celebrity Zumba instructor who has been able to tour nationwide (SM, Robinsons and Ayala) since 2015. Antonio is the face of Costa Cruises (the biggest European cruise line) and TravelPeople Inc. since 2019. He headlined 5 cruise sailings with Asia Pacific and Europe.
“I’m very grateful for everyone’s trust—especially our kababayans who follow our Zumba events, from the young ones to the senior citizens.

The celebrity Zumba instructor will kick off his international tour this coming June and will bring the fun and excitement of Zayaw Pilipinas to Canada.
The Zumba King is scheduled to do performances in Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, and other cities.
