‘Pepito’ posibleng mag-landfall sa bahagi ng Quezon, Aurora
STAY safe pa rin mga ka-BANDERA dahil patuloy ang pagbabadya ng Bagyong Pepito, lalo na sa bahagi ng Quezon.
Ayon sa 8 a.m. weather report ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), posibleng tumama ang bagyo sa nasabing lugar o kaya naman sa bahagi ng Aurora ngayong araw, November 17.
“It will pass close or over Polillo Islands by late morning, before making landfall over northern Quezon or central or southern Aurora between this noon and afternoon,” saad sa inilabas na update ng ahensya.
Paliwanag pa, “Afterwards, PEPITO will cross the northern portion of Central Luzon and the southern portion of Northern Luzon along the upland areas of Sierra Madre, Caraballo, and Cordillera Central between this afternoon and evening. PEPITO will emerge over the coastal waters of Pangasinan or La Union tonight or tomorrow (18 November) early morning.”
Huling namataan ang bagyo sa baybayin ng Vinzons, Camarines Norte.

Ang taglay nitong lakas na hangin ay 185 kilometers per hour malapit sa gitna at bugsong aabot sa 255 kilometers per hour.
