‘Pepito’ tatama sa Central o Southern Luzon sa weekend, Signal No. 1 itinaas
LALONG lumakas ang Bagyong Pepito at magiging isang typhoon ngayong araw, November 15.
Ayon sa 5 a.m. weather report ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), inaasahan na tatama ito sa lupa sa eastern coast ng Central o Southern Luzon pagsapit ng weekend.
Pero posible din daw itong magbago, “It must also be emphasized that the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone. Therefore, the landfall point may also shift within the range of the forecast confidence cone from the eastern coast of the eastern coast of Eastern Visayas to the eastern coast of Central Luzon.”
Huling namataan ang Bagyong Pepito sa layong 795 kilometers silangan ng Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
Taglay nito ang lakas na hanging 110 kilometers per hour malapit sa gitna at bugsong aabot sa 135 kilometers per hour.

Kumikilos ito sa bilis na 25 kilometers per hour pa-kanluran.
Ayon sa forecast ng weather bureau, patuloy na lalakas ang bagyo hanggang sa maging isang super typhoon bukas, November 16.
Ito ay nakatakda namang lumabas ng ating bansa pagdating ng Lunes, November 18.
Itinaas na ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 sa ilang lugar sa Luzon at Visayas.
Kasama riyan ang Catanduanes, eastern portion ng Camarines Norte (Vinzons, Talisay, Daet, Mercedes, Basud), eastern portion ng Camarines Sur (Caramoan, Garchitorena, Presentacion, San Jose, Lagonoy, Tinambac, Goa, Siruma, Tigaon, Sagñay, Calabanga, Naga City, Magarao, Bombon, Pili, Ocampo, Iriga City, Buhi), eastern portion ng Albay (Rapu-Rapu, City of Tabaco, Malilipot, Santo Domingo, Bacacay, Legazpi City, Malinao, Manito, Tiwi), at eastern and southern portions ng Sorsogon (Juban, City of Sorsogon, Barcelona, Bulusan, Magallanes, Gubat, Santa Magdalena, Casiguran, Bulan, Irosin, Matnog, Prieto Diaz, Castilla).
Gayundin ang Northern Samar, northern portion ng Eastern Samar (San Policarpo, Arteche, Jipapad, Maslog, Oras, Dolores, Can-Avid), at northeastern portion ng Samar (Matuguinao, San Jose de Buan).
