Kathryn, Alden grabe ang hugot sa ‘second chances’: ‘It’s a choice, a gift’

NANINIWALA ba kayo sa second chances?
‘Yan ang itinanong mismo sa on-screen partners na sina Alden Richards at Kathryn Bernardo sa naganap na media conference para sa upcoming film nila na “Hello, Love, Again” kamakailan lang.
Unang sumagot diyan si Alden at sinabi niyang naniniwala siya, ngunit nakadepende pa rin daw ito sa tao.
“‘Yun lang kasi ang mantra sa buhay ko, especially –you know, people tend to make mistakes over and over and over again and sometimes, hindi naman natin maiiwasan, lalo na’t may magagawa tayo na ikakasama ng loob ng ibang tao,” paliwanag niya.
Patuloy ng aktor, “And at the same time, at the end of the day, ‘yung iba forgiveness talaga –you forgive and then you forget, but sometimes you forgive and move on, but you never forget.”

Sumang-ayon naman si Kathryn sa sinabi ni Alden, lalo na’t lahat daw tayo ay isang “human beings” lamang na nagkakamali.
“Makaka-disappoint ako ng whether it’s intentional or unintentional. Given na tao tayo eh, nagkakamali,” wika ng aktres.
Esplika niya, “And ako personally, I’ll do anything to be given that second chance, that opportunity to correct my wrongdoings, to rebuild relationships, I guess, and to maybe regain trust. All these things. Lahat ‘yun part ng forgiveness siyempre.”
Pagbabahagi niya pa, “But again, we have to remember, we are all different. Because some people can give a second chance, some can give multiple chances, and some won’t, and that’s okay. And we have to respect that kasi iba-iba naman ang tao, so depende talaga siya sa sitwasyon.”
Nilinaw rin ni Kathryn na ang pagbibigay ng “second chances” ay isang choice at regalo na ibinibigay.
“For me, laging kong iniisip na ang forgiveness or second chances isn’t an obligation, it’s a choice and it’s a gift,” sambit niya.
Matinding hugot pa niya sa dulo, “So kapag binigay ‘yun sa’yo ng tao, it’s a privilege just like any gift. We have to be careful and we have to earn that gift.”

May iba kasi na niniwala pang magkakabalikan ang aktres at ang ex-boyfriend nitong si Daniel Padilla, habang ang iba naman ay mas piniling mag-move on na.
