Ang naturang kanta ay isinulat ni JMRTN with Mandy Placheta and Emil Pama under Godspeed Music and was released by Star Music.

REtroSPECT is an ALIW Awards Hall of Fame Awardee for Best Performance in Hotels, Bars and Music Lounges in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

JMRTN, through the years, has made his mark through his electrifying live performances on stage. Now as a solo artist, he is eager to showcase Filipino-American talent not only locally but also internationally through his company, JARO Productions USA.

While some celebrities looked for other means to combat challenges posted by the pandemic, JRMTN decided to continue doing what he had always loved.

“Sa totoo lang, I decide to go solo due to economic reasons. I need to go afloat and since this is the only thing I do best, might as well go solo,” pahayag ng seasoned singer.

I’m the leader of the group, I’m the manager and chief composer of the group. Whenever we come up with an album, ako ‘yung producer ako rin ang composer.

“They just followed because they believed in me. That’s the one good thing with REtroSPECT, they believed in what I believed in so up until now, we were still together and ganun kaming ka-intact up until now,” sabi pa ni JMRTN na isa na ring producer ngayon.

When we came out in the ’90s kasi wala rin kaming ginaya.

“We were just who we are, sa music namin, sa image namin wala kaming ginaya, like Aegis, Jeremiah, Freestyle, we have unique sounds na parang hindi mo na iisipin kung sino nga ito ulit. Ganun for me si Maki because original is still the best,” pahayag pa niya.
