“He wants to rest. He really wants to. He’s asking that if I can rest after this,” ang pahayag ni Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) president Cynthia Carrion, base sa ulat ng ABS-CBN.

“He’s never seen the Philippines. He’s never seen Boracay. He’s never seen Palawan. He’s never seen the beauty of the Philippines.

“So, this time, I want him to have time off to see Boracay and go places,” ang pahayag pa ni Cynthia.

“He’s leaving for Paris again in September where he has deliverables. So, he’s going there and that’s his last. After that, he’s going to come back,” pahayag pa ni Cynthia.

“Of course, he’s going to continue training because a gymnast cannot be without training. And then he’s going to go on vacation,” pagpapatuloy pa ng GAP president.

Dito ibinigay ni PBBM ang P20 million reward para sa double Olympic gold sa Paris Olympics “as mandated by the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act.”
