PARAMI pa nang parami ang nagbibigay ng incentives para sa double gold medal victory ni Carlos Yulo sa 2024 Paris Olympics.
In fairness, hindi impossible ng umabot sa P100 million ang pwedeng matanggap na cash at property incentives ni Carlos para sa dalawang gintong medalya na napanalunan niya sa artistic gymnastics sa men’s floor at men’s vault exercises.
Nauna nang napabalita na mahigit P60 million na ang ibibigay sa Pinoy champ ng gobyerno at ng iba’t ibang private companies.

At bukod nga riyan, tumataginting na P20 million pa ang tatanggapin ni Carlos bilang cash reward. Yan ang kinumpirma ni PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengco sa pagharap nito sa pagdinig kahapon sa House Committee on Appropriations.

“As provided by law, for the gold medalists, PAGCOR is mandated to give an athlete who wins a gold P10 million. So since he has two golds, Mr. Yulo will have P20 million. I have not announced this in public, so this is the first time,” ani Tengco.
Samantala, makakatanggap din si Carlos ng P5 million mula sa ArenaPlus na ibinandera rin ang pagpupugay sa tagumpay ng tinaguriang “Golden Boy” sa 2024 Olympic Games.
Tinawag nilang “Astig Hero Bonus”, karapat-dapat lang daw na bigyan ng reward ang natanggap niyang historic achievement.
