KAHIT pinasok na ng tubig baha ang loob ng bahay nina Athena Yap, dating entertainment reporter ng Abante News Online at anak ng aktres na si Katrina Paula ay nagawa pa rin nitong mag-post ng emergency numbers para sa mga nangangailangan ng tulong.
Unang post niya sa Facebook account, “Grabe ang tindi ng buhos ng ulan, It’s like ‘Ondoy’ once again. ‘Wag naman sana.
“Kawawa ‘yung mga walang masilungan, sumisiksik sa kung saan-saan, ‘wag lang mabasa o malunod sa baha.
“Lord, I pray for the safety of everyone. Sana safe din ‘yung mga family and friends na mga nasa bahaing lugar.
“I hope no life will be taken away dahil sa bagyong ito, It’s really scary.”
At saka niya pinost ang hotline numbers na puwedeng tawagan ng mga tag-Quezon City, Paranaque at San Mateo residents.

Hindi rin nagtagal ay nag-post na siya na naghahanap ng malapit na hotel na puwede nilang pansamantalang tuluyan.
“LF: Hotel/Place to stay + someone to pick us up…Flood in our house is already until our chest,” panawagan niya.
Sinundan pa ng larawang kuha sa labas ng bahay nila, “The flood was already deep that malulunod na ako if I try to lusong. It was already until my brother’s shoulder and as 4’11. I’m only until his arms. Imagine how deep was that sa loob ng house namin.
“Our car wasn’t saved, But thank God, my lola, brothers and I are now in a safe place. Our helper, his son and a family friend was left at home, nagbantay ng gamit, please pray for them po (emoji praying hands).”

May nabasa kaming kinumusta sina Athena ng artistang si Myrna Castillo, “Saan na kayo, kumusta si Lola?”
Ilang oras ang nakalipas ay muling nag-post si Athena sa kanyang Instagram stories na ni-rescue sila ni Big Mak ng “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”
“Thank God so much for @bigmakandaya for rescuing us. I can’t imagine how we’re going to spend the night sa evacuation center. We never experienced this, ngayon lang.
“What a nightmare. Ang hirap mag ask for rescue kapag hotline ang tatawagan. The hotlines in my previous story, they don’t work.
“Wala talagang aasahan sa government, kaya please, please, please, PLEASE throw you trashes sa tamang tapunan. Look at this disaster, nadadamay ‘yung iba na disciplined naman sa pagtatapon.
“It’s the only thing we could control, DISCIPLINE. Throw you trashes away properly.”

At ang sagot ng anak ni Katrina sa mga nagtatanong sa kanyang post, “Finally, we got rescued by Mark Anthony Andaya… thank you so much for all the concern.”
Si Mark Andaya ang kasangga ni Coco Martin alyas Tanggol sa “Batang Quiapo” na base sa umeere ngayon ay nakatakas na sila sa kulungan.
