Ian Veneracion to the rescue sa lesbian niyang anak, may hirit sa bashers

NGAYONG Pride Month, proud na ibinandera ni Ian Veneracion ang kanyang lesbian daughter na si Dids.
Ito ay matapos bumida ang kanyang anak sa isang magazine cover bilang pagdiriwang ng taunang event.
Sa Instagram, pinuri ni Ian ang kagandahang loob ni Dids at tila nagparinig din sa bashers na hindi dapat husgahan ang isang tao base sa kanilang sexual preferences.
“Seriously, let’s all just cut the bullshit,” panimula ng aktor sa caption ng kanyang post.
Mensahe niya, “People should be honored and respected for their compassion, courage, and integrity—not for the choices they make in the privacy of their bedrooms.”
Wika pa ni Ian, “Proud of my daughter for embodying these values. Who she loves is her business.”

Marami naman ang sumang-ayon kay Ian at narito ang kanilang mga sentimyento:
“Amen to this, Kuya! We’re proud of Dids for bravely being who she is in this crazy world.”
“As long as wala tayong tinatapakan na tao, tayo ay pagpapalain ng Panginoon. Always Be proud for who you are dear.”
“Regardless of gender, it doesn’t matter, I can only say you are good and respectful father and Dids is a good daughter [red heart emoji] as a parent you raised your children well [smiling face with heart eyes, clapping hands emojis].”
Kung matatandaan noong 2020, chinika ni Ian na umaming lesbian ang kanyang anak noong nasa edad 16 pa lamang ito na buong puso naman niyang sinuportahan.
“Just don’t ever be apologetic about it, not even to me.’ Sabi ko, ‘You can be whoever you want to be, and I have full support’,” sey ni Ian noon sa isang interview.
Dagdag niya, “Nakakapanghinayang lang, isa lang ang buhay natin. Tapos pag nabuhay ka—ano pa, apologetic ka pa, na nahihiya ka sa sarili mo, hindi mo mailabas ang pagkatao mo. What a waste of life.”
Noong 2017, proud na sinabi ng veteran actor na “mini me” niya si Dids.
“She’s so much like me, sa ugali at sa mga hilig,” chika niya.
Kwento pa ng aktor, “She plays the piano and the guitar. So, pag may piano at guitar, kunwari pumunta siya sa piano, kunin ko iyong guitar. Magja-jam kami.”
Maliban kay Dids, may dalawa pang anak na lalaki si Ian sa kanyang misis of more than 25 years na si engineer Pam Gallardo.
