Boy Abunda hindi ready sa hiwalayang KathNiel: Akala ko it was going smooth
AMINADO ang King of Talk na si Boy Abunda na ikinagulat niya ang paghihiwalay nina Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla.
Sa kanyang panayam kay Luis Manzano na mapapanood sa YouTube channel ng huli, nausisa siya ng TV host-actor kung kaninong celebrity break up ang kanyang ikinagulat.
Dito ay inamin niya na hindi raw niya inaasahan ang paghihiwalay ng isa sa mga sikat na love team sa Pilipinas, ang KathNiel.
“The first, again, couple that comes to mind is Daniel and Kathryn. I was shocked. Oo, because during Covid, I did an interview with Daniel,” pagbabahagi ni Boy.
Dagdag pa niya, “Hindi ako ready do’n. I was shocked. 11 years together, and I’m a fan.”

Sa naturang interview raw kasi ay natanong niya si Daniel kung ano ang mas malala sa pagtatraydor at hinangaan niya ang naging sagot nito.
“In that interview, Luis, tinanong ko si Daniel: what is worse than betrayal? I remember the question. What is worse than betrayal? Ang ganda-ganda ng sagot, ‘yon ang takeaway ko do’n sa pag-uusap na ‘yon. Sabi niya, ‘being forgiven,’” pag-alala ni Boy.
Dahil raw kasi sa naging sagot nito ay nagkaroon sila ng pag-uusap ng kanyang partner.
Kuwento ni Boy, “Totoo ‘yon. ‘Yong to be forgiven na parang ‘wow, naintindihan ako, napatawad ako, pagkatapos ng kasalanan ko.’ I realized that. It triggered a long conversation I had with Bong [Quintana].
“Sabi ko: oo ‘no, come to think about it. So, having come from that interview, akala ko, it was going to go smooth. Hindi pala. It was a misread.”
Matatabdaang noong November 2023 lang nang inanunsyo ni Kathryn sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Instagram post na hiwalay na sila ni Daniel Padilla matapos ang mahigit isang dekada ng pagsasama.
