Dina hindi agad na-in love kay Vic, nagpakasal noon pero fake pala

“I DIDN’T fall in love with Vic (Sotto), I grew in love.” Yan ang pag-amin ni Dina Bonnevie tungkol sa naging relasyon nila noon ng dating partner.
Kuwento ng premyadong aktres, nag-start ang love story nila ni Bossing noong 1981 at 19 years old lang daw siya noon at nagsisimula nang sumikat bilang Regal Baby.
Nagpakasal daw sila ni Vic kahit tutol ang kanyang ama na si Honesto Bonnevie pero nalaman nila na wala pala itong bisa.

“Supposed to be, ikinasal kami, pero hindi naman pala totoo yung kasal. Kasi yung nagkasal sa amin was a clerk of court, which we didn’t know.

“And then, nagtanan kami, kasi we’re doing a show together, yung Lucky Stars. Sabi niya (Vic) lang sa akin, ‘Do you want to come home with me? Come home na lang with me.’
“And, di ba, lagi naman tayong may mga maleta ng damit kapag artista ka? E, di sabi ko, sige. So, nagtago na kami from my dad,” kuwento ni Dina sa panayam ng “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”
Pag-amin pa ng aktres, hindi siya agad na-in love kay Vic, natutunan na lang daw niya itong mahalin nang magsama sila bilang mag-asawa.
“And then eventually, that’s why I always say, I didn’t fall in love with Vic. I grew in love. There’s a difference. Kasi when you fall in love, you fall in love, then ‘I’m so in love. He’s so pogi and all these.’
“That’s not the case with Vic. It wasn’t about being pogi, but he was Mr. 1-2-3, and I’m like, ‘Duh! Mr. 1-2-3?'” ang sey pa ni Dina na ang tinutukoy ay ang 1980 movie ni Vic kasama sina Tito Sotto at Joey de Leon.

May kanya-kanya nang buhay ngayon sina Dina at Bossing at in fairness, napanatili pa rin nila ang kanilang maayos na relasyon through the years, sa kabila ng nangyari sa kanila in the past.
