Dingdong Dantes sa pagiging tatay nina Zia at Sixto: ‘I can say that it’s fulfilling’

SA kabila ng tagumpay at kasikatan ng TV host-actor na si Dingdong Dantes, ang pagiging tatay pa rin ang nangingibabaw sa kanyang mga prayoridad sa buhay.
Kamakailan lang ay nagkaroon ng press conference si Dingdong para sa kanyang comeback primetime series na “Royal Blood” at doon siya kinamusta ng INQUIRER tungkol sa kanyang fatherhood journey.
Ayon sa aktor, ang pagiging ama sa dalawa niyang anak na sina Zia at Sixto ay “fulfilling.”
“Now that I have experienced becoming a father, I can say that it’s fulfilling. Fatherhood was something I aspired to before,” sey niya.
Patuloy niya, “Now I embrace it more having experienced all the things that come with it—the hardships and the day-to-day responsibilities, the good times and the bad times.”

Kahit lagari sa trabaho ang aktor, sinabi niya na nagbibigay pa rin siya ng oras para sa kanyang mga anak.
Alam naman natin na ilan lamang sa mga proyekto ngayon ni Dingdong ay ang “Royal Blood” at ang “Family Feud.”
Nabanggit pa ng TV host na sinisigurado nila ng kanyang misis na si Marian Rivera na hindi magkakasabay ang kanilang mga proyekto nang sa ganun ay may maiiwan pa rin para maalagaan ang kanilang mga anak.
“Marian is also starting a new series soon after I’m done with this. So we take turns,” sey ni Dingdong.
Chika pa niya, “The good thing, though, is that our kids are older now, so we have more freedom to work. If these [projects] happened last year, we probably wouldn’t have been able to do them.”
“We always tell them that what we do is something we’re very proud of,” dagdag ng aktor.
Patuloy pa niya, “I hope that when they see our work in the future, they see how passionate we are about our craft.”
Aniya pa, “But I know that they will understand later on that we do all of these for them.”
Kasunod niyan, sinagot naman ni Dingdong ang tungkol sa pagpasok sa showbiz ng kanyang mga anak.
Marami kasi ang nagsasabi na marahil ay susunod ang mga ito sa yapak ng mag-asawa.
Ngunit sabi ng aktor, hindi nila kailangang i-pressure ang kanilang mga anak na maging artista.
Sa halip raw ay binibigyan nila ito ng pagkakataon na mag-explore ng iba pang mga aktibidad na pwede pa nila ma-enjoy sa buhay.
“We will support them where they enjoy themselves most. Their interests will evolve. The important thing is to present them with options worth their while,” sambit ni Dingdong.
