Eva Le Queen ng ‘Drag Race PH’ feel na feel ang pressure sa pag-arte sa ‘The Write One’; puring-puri sina Bianca at Lotlot

AMINADO ang drag queen na si Eva Le Queen na matindi ang nararamdaman niyang pressure sa kauna-unahan niyang teleserye, ang Kapuso fantasy romcom na “The Write One.”
Ito’y pinagbibidahan nina Ruru Madrid, Bianca Umali, Paul Salas at Mikee Quintos na magsisimula na bukas, March 20 sa GMA Telebabad.
“This is my first acting engagement. I’m a performer kasi, I do drag. ‘Yung last show ko naman is a reality show,” ang chika ng drag queen sa naganap na mediacon at pilot screening ng serye kamakailan.
Sa mga hindi pa masyadong aware, si Eva ay isa sa mga naging contestants para sa unang season ng “Drag Race Philippines.”
Sey ni Eva, isang malaking achievement na para sa isang drag performer na mapasama sa isang napakalaking project na mapapanood sa GMA 7.

“Sobrang excited ako but at the same time sobrang laking pressure. May pressure, I think, for me kasi this is the first representation of drag in the mainstream, other than the reality show. It opens up a lot of opportunities,” lahad ni Eva.

Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “Puwede pala na I am myself. Kasi for my role Queenie, hinayaan nila ako to do the creatives of who my character is.
“Talagang I do my own makeup on the set. I style myself. I do my own wigs. Hinayaan ako and I’m just really proud to represent the queer community and my drag community dito,” dugtong pa ng drag queen.
Ito ang unang pagkakataon na aakting siya sa isang serye kaya super excited na siyang mapanood ng mga Kapuso viewers.
“To be surrounded by such talented and very passionate people, mula kina Bianca, kina Ms. Lotlot (de Leon), when you are surrounded by people with so much passion, kahit wala kang experience sa acting, you’ll be your best, eh.
“I’m just really happy to be on The Write One. This is the right teleserye for my first teleserye,” aniya pa.
Iikot ang kuwento ng “The Write One” sa isang frustrated TV scriptwriter na mabibigyan ng chance na mabago ang kanyang buhay sa pamamagitan ng isang antique at misteryosong typewriter.
