Jake nagka-injury sa tuhod habang nagte-taping: ‘Naka-mindset ako na mahihirapan ako, masasaktan ako, iiyak at dudugo ako’

NAPAPASABAK si Jake Cuenca sa action and fight scenes sa “The Iron Heart” at tanggap niyang minsan ay talagang magkakaroon ng disgrasya nang hindi naman sinasadya.
Sa second set visit namin sa taping ng “The Iron Heart” sa Cebu ay inamin ni Jake na na-injure siya sa isang fight scene but he’s far from complaining.
“Yesterday I was injured but it is so hard not to do the scene. I have to do it. This happened in a fight scene. Injured it in a fight scene,” say ni Jake sa amin.
Ipinakita pa ni Jake ang kanyang swollen knee, pero hindi niya pinangalanan kung sinong actor na kaeksena niya ang naging sanhi ng kanyang injury.
“Pero hindi si Richard Gutierrez, ha,” paglilinaw niya.

“That’s part of it. I said it before, every time I come here I don’t come here for the easy time. Naka-mindset ako dito na mahihirapan ako, na masasaktan ako, iiyak ako, dudugo ako. Okay lang ‘yon,” say pa ng actor.
Bilang Eros, aware si Jake na talagang hindi maiiwasan na magkaroon ng sakitan kapag ginagawa na ang fight and action scenes.

“One thing about Eros is I don’t wanna be babied so, if I’m injured, if something happens to me on the set, just give me a little bit of space, pick myself back and I’ll do the sequence,” say niya.
“The production, my director, they know that I’m willing to do anything and everything under the sun for the show. So, for me, if I have an injury just like last night, cut it off.
“I am doing the scene. Ganoon ang mentalidad ko kasi you feel the effort of the production na ini-elevate nila ‘yung buong team.
“They’re really trying their best to make it really world class. So, for the actors, nandoon din ‘yung effort na sabayan ‘yung effort ng production,” dagdag pa ng actor.
Napapanood ang “The Iron Heart” sa iba’t ibang platforms ng ABS-CBN.
