Karen proud sa 'pagtatrabaho' ni David: 'I encourage more companies to hire people with disabilities & special needs'

SUPER proud ang veteran broadcast journalist na si Karen Davila sa bagong achievement ng kanyang anak na si David na nasa autism spectrum.

Ibinandera ng Kapamilya news anchor sa madlang pipol na nag-start na sa kanyang internship job recently ang pinakamamahal na anak.

Nasa pangangalaga ng The Vanguard Academy Philippines si David na talagang pinasalamatan ng broadcaster nang bonggang-bongga dahil sa inklusibo nitong programa para sa mga kabataang may special needs.

Sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Facebook account, masayang ibinahagi ni Karen ang mga ginagawa ni David sa kanyang OJT on the job training sa isang retail shop.

Personal na binisita ni Karen ang anak sa nasabing store base na rin sa short reel na kanyang ipinost sa FB.

Dito ipinakita niya sa kanyang mga followers ang suot na customized identification card ni David na may nakalagay na, “Thank you for your patience. I am a PWD (person with disability).”

Ipinakita rin ni Karen ang ginawang pag-assist sa kanya ni David bilang isang customer sa counter ng nasabing retail store.

Samantala, nag-celebrate kahapon, February 19, ng kanyang 21st birthday si David base na rin sa mga ipinost ni Karen sa Instagram stories.
