Wilbert ‘di palalampasin ang bagong isyu sa Miss Planet International, walang malay na pinalitan si Herlene bilang kandidata

NAHAHARAP sa bagong isyu ang talent manager ni Binibining Pilipinas first runner-up Herlene Budol na si Wilbert Tolentino.

‘Yan ay matapos ipakilala ng Miss Planet International organization sa social media na may bagong representative ang Pilipinas.

Ang ipinalit kay Herlene ay si Maria Luisa Varela na isang negosyante.

Kung maaalala, noong November 12 ng nakaraang taon ay opisyal na inanunsyo ni Wilbert na umatras na sa laban ang ating pambato na si Herlene.

Ayon sa kanya, inalis niya sa kompetisyon si Herlene dahil sa mga naging problema sa pageant organization.

Nilahad pa niya na marami ang nasayang, hindi lang daw pera at effort, kundi pati na rin ang kanilang oras.

Bukod diyan, ang isa pang kontrobersiya ay pinalitan din mismo si Wilbert bilang national director ng Miss Planet Philippines na walang kamalay-malay.

Inanunsyo nalang ito ng nasabing organisasyon sa isang Facebook post noong January 20 at ang ipinalit sa kanya ay si Miki Antonio.

Caption pa sa post, “OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Miss Planet International Organization is proud to announce and confirm the participation of Maria Luisa Varela representing the Philippines in our upcoming pageant to be held on January 29th at the Koh Pich Theater in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia.”

“In addition, we are thrilled to confirm that Miki Antonio will be serving as our National Director in the Philippines for the upcoming year 2023. We look forward to working with Miki to make this year’s pageant a success,” aniya.

Dahil diyan ay naglabas na rin ng pahayag si Wilbert sa social media at iginiit na siya pa rin ang may hawak ng exclusive franchise sa Pilipinas.

Sey niya sa FB post, “As National Director of Ms. Planet in the Philippines, I wish to express my concern that unauthorized persons have appointed representatives to the pageant without my prior consent.

“I hold the exclusive franchise in the Philippines and have the sole authority to appoint a representative for the Country.”

Binanggit din niya na hindi niya palalampasin ang nangyari at handa siyang magsampa ng kaso.

Lahad niya, “Given the unfortunate circumstances that occurred during the pageant held in Uganda in November 19, 2022, I have decided not to send a representative to the new Ms. Planet to be held in Cambodia this January 29, 2023.”

“I will be constrained to take legal action against any person representing to have authority to send a representative for the Philippines to Ms. Planet without my authority,” aniya.

Samantala, sinagot din ni Luisa ang isyu at ayon sa kanya ay inimbitahan lang siya upang sumali sa pageant.

“I was approached to represent our nation and contribute in the rehabilitation of a particular international pageant organization – one that is trying to overcome its recent trials and restore its previously growing stature worldwide and not just in one country,” sey niya sa inilabas na offical statement

Sa ngayon raw ay abala siya sa paghahanda sa pageant upang mabigyan ng karangalan ang ating bansa.

Saad niya sa post, “My greatest focus right now should be to resume my preparation so that I may bring honor to our country.

“I hope that my silence and tact regarding recent happenings will be respected – society can often be forgetful to humanize.”

Ang Miss Planet International ay magaganap sa January 29 sa Cambodia.
